SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To maintain a high standard of operation within the outlet, paying particular attention to customer service, productivity, quality, presentation and hygiene standards. 8.0 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 8.1 Perform tasks to achieve GU customer service standards and the provision of exceptional customer service in Griffith Food Services operations in the Gold Coast restaurant. Work with team members to ensure adequate, timely provision of food and beverages in a manner and quality that meets or exceeds customers expectations. Supply and production of menu items as required for Gs Gold Coast and function trade, according to Operation Performance Standards. Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with Operational Performance Standards and legislative requirements. Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety legislative requirements and assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the Food Services WPH&S Management System. Ensure all food presented for service is in accordance with Operational Performance Standards. Promote compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to same.

POSITION CONTEXT: This position is a member of the Griffith Food professionals, providing food and beverage services to students, academics, general staff and visitors.

SELECTION CRITERIA: Essential: 11.1 Completion of relevant trade qualification with 3 years relevant recent work experience, or an equivalent alternate combination of knowledge, training and/or experience. Demonstrated food service skills. Demonstrated commitment and ability to meet and exceed customer service standards. Demonstrated commitment and ability to meet and exceed Workplace Health and Safety and Food Safety legislative requirements.
