It was only after they entered the house that the Magi found Jesus. Todays gospel challenges us to bring our gifts into our home and family. There we will find Jesus. Our spiritual search for God starts at home. (Insert graphic 1106-0086)
364 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. Each hour you spend with Jesus will deepen his divine peace within your heart. "Come to me all of you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you." Cast all of your anxieties upon the Lord, who cares for you." (Mt 11:28, Pt 5:7) Is this the year that you start making a Holy Hour? If you would like more information, please contact Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926. (Insert Graphic 2404-0106.tif)

DAY OF PENANCE in reparation for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion, and prayer for full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life: Once again, members of our parish and diocese are invited to gather to pray in reparation for lives ended through abortion and to intercede that all laws pertaining to this critical issue reflect Gods purposes for humanity. Please join us for Midday Prayer at 11:30 am, before the 12:05 Mass, on Monday, January 23.

The Free Christmas Day Dinner keeps making news! For the past eight years Linda and Howard Lansberry have been the cooks for the Dinner. They have very generously given of their time and talent to assure that the food for the dinner was prepared and ready to serve when it was needed. They have been the heart of the kitchen. They have now prayerfully discerned that it is time to step down but not without finding replacement cooks and assuring us that they will be there to get things started next December 25. As chair of the Dinner, I have been able to trust completely that things in the kitchen would go as they should, a huge help in executing this ministry. Linda and Howard, THANK YOU. May God continue to bless you and your family and pour His grace upon you as you serve Him in other ways. Karen Bellett
