SUBMITTING YOUR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS Please print and complete the Application Checklist, and submit it with a clearly photocopied set of supporting documents: National Level High School Examination result (if applicable) High School examination results slip Secondary school examination result slip University academic transcript (if applicable) Additional result slip e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I, SAT II and AP (if applicable) Birth certificate or passport Medical reports if you have or had any major illnesses or disabilities Documentation of past criminal records (if applicable) No photographs is required

Extra-curricular activities records and recommendation letters are not required.

Arrange the supporting documents in the above order. Write your name and application number on all documents. Supporting documents not in English must be accompanied by an English translation. Supporting documents must be certified true copies by your school, university, or the notary public. Do no submit original certificates and documents. The Office of Admissions will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of original certificates or documents submitted.

Please write your application number on the top right-hand corner of every page of the document(s) submitted as well as on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. You may upload the application checklist & supporting documents via the "online submission of documents" facility foundin the online application status facility. Alternatively you may submit your supporting documents to the Office of Admissions via postal services. All supporting documents must reach the Office of Admissions by application closing dat and should be sent to the address below. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

NUS is committed to a needs-blind merit-based admission policy that ensures no deserving student is deni admissions because of financial difficulty.

To help meet the educational expenses of financially-needy students, financial aid in the form of loans, bursaries and work-study opportunities, are administered by the Office of Financial Aid within the Office o Admissions. If you wish to apply for NUS-administered Financial Aid in support of your education at NUS you should visit the NUS Financial Aid website at http://www.nus.edu.sg/financialaid/ for the latest information on application procedures and the types of financial aid available. Applications for Financial Aid must be made after you have submitted your application for admission to NUS, and by the closing dat for admission applications or 1 April, whichever is earlier. In addition, please note that such Financial Aid applications should be made (1) as soon as possible after your application for admission and regardless of whether you have been offered admission to NUS, and (2) regardless of whether you intend to apply for scholarships and/or other forms of financial assistance offered or administered by sources other than the NUS Office of Financial Aid.

You may also wish to note that the Financial Aid website publishes information on other sources of financial assistance administered by external organizations (e.g. bank-administered Tuition Fee Loan (TFL Scheme; CPF Education Scheme; Mendaki Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy). In many instances, the respectiv administrators of such schemes require that applications be made immediately upon receipt of the admissio offer from the University and within their stipulated deadlines. This is regardless of whether you have applied for NUS-administered Financial Aid. UNIVERSITY SCHOLARS PROGRAMME

The University Scholars Programme (USP) is an interdisciplinary academic programme for NUS undergraduates. It admits 180 students each year, and offers the freedom to explore across disciplines, a wide range of extracurricular and overseas opportunities, and a community of exceptionally motivated and talented students in a residential college. USP involves six faculties/schools Arts & Social Sciences, Business, Computing, Design &
