"Afrikaans." Encyclopedia Americana. Grolier Online, 2012. Web. 6 Jan. 2012. This is an easy to read article that gives a brief background of Afrikaans. It is very basic though but a good way to get started. The info wasnt really used on the site, but was basically a starter for me on the website.

Probably the most informational and organized article you would find over the internet about Afrikaners. This information was used in a variety of places from Background to Literature.

This is a very useful stat chart describing the amount of people in both genders / races that speak a language. It was used to double-check the amount of people that speak Afrikaans. Andrews, Tom. Has very detailed info and was skimmed through for useful information about the war.

A fantastic resource if you want to learn about the South African War (although I did not describe of New Zealand on my website). Well organized too! Info was used on Second Anglo-Boer War page.
