It can introduce new ideas while introducing the products of its clients for better appeal to consumers. It brings professional touch and creativity in the entire advertising activity. Creativity is the most important asset of an advertising agency. Creativity depends on the quality of creative personnel (copywriters, artists, art directors, etc.) appointed by the agency. The quality of creative services should be given adequate weightage while selecting an ad agency. Creativity is seeing something new when you look at something old; it is all heart of civilization and is the driving force of revolution. - David Ogilvy. It is an accepted fact that there should be an element of creativity in an advertisement. This creativity is something new, unique, extreme attractive and appealing to the consumers. In fact, advertising itself is advertisement creative process. It is the outcome of long term planning and hard work on the part of the copy writer or artist who prepares the final copy of the advertisement. This is natural as creative ideas do not come over night. They are required to be developed through systematic thinking process. Facts of creativity in advertising Creative advertising needs to imaginative, intelligent, sharp, to the point and extremely catchy. It must motive people to purchase advertisement product. The message and appeal made should be able to make positive impact on the consumers. According to Albert Wesley, Creativity is the ability to develop new useful ideas that produce desired results. Creativity should focus the attention of the reader on the product and he must feel the urge to have that product for same benefit. This suggests that creative advertising should be able to create demand for the product when it is introduced for the first time. Types of advertising and promos:

1. Ad serving- describes the technology and service that places advertisements on web sites. 2. Ad Tags- Ad tags are HTML or JavaScript code that you can place within your site in order to display ads. Ad tags contain information about your site and the types of ad units that you re displaying on it. 3. CPM- Cost per thousand impressions, is a phrase often used in online advertising and marketing related to web traffic. It is used for measuring the worth and cost of a specific e-marketing campaign. This technique is applied with web banners, text links, email, and opt-in e-mail advertising. 4. CPA- Cost Per Action; an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action (a purchase, a form submission, and so on) linked to the advertisement. 5. CPC- Cost Per Click AKA Pay Per Click (PPC), where advertisers pay the publisher when the ad is clicked. 6. CPD- Cost per day (CPD) is a payment model by which advertisers pay for their ads to be shown on a daily basis. 7. eCPM- Effective cost per thousand impressions. This is calculated as the total revenue generated, divided by the total number of impressions delivered for all ads divided by 1,000. (Total Recognized Revenue / Total Impressions Served) x 1,000. 8. Clicks- The number of times users have clicked on an ad displayed on your site, taking them to an advertiser s web site. 9. Click Through Rate- the number of clicks on an ad divided by the number of impression. This is a helpful metric for understanding the effectiveness of an online advertisement. -The percentage of impressions that resulted in users clicking on an ad. 10. Direct ad- and ad campaign purchased by a company usually at a premium rate because it is intended for the publisher s specific audience and demographics. 11. Impressions- An online advertisement impression is a single appearance of an advertisement on a web page. Each time an advertisement loads onto a user s screen, the ad server may count that loading as one impression. 12.
