Ordination and Collation Service at All Saints Cathedral On the Last Sunday after Epiphany, Sunday, February 19th at 7:00 pm, Bishop Jane intends, God willing, to ordain Maralyn Benay to the Vocational Diaconate, the Rev. Chris Dowdeswell to the Priesthood and collate the Ven. Alan Perry as the Executive Archdeacon of the Diocese of Edmonton. Your prayers and presence are requested. Clergy are invited to vest. The colour is white. Ministry Teams: I will be working on Ministry Schedule for FebruaryMay 31st within the next two weeks. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide me the dates when you will not be available.
THE TECH CREW NEEDS YOU: Do you enjoy playing with dials, and buttons? Are good with duct tape? If so, the tech. crew would love you to join the team. No previous experience is required. Please join us Monday evenings at 7 pm if you are interested in receiving training and joining our team.

As many of you know Lisa loss her father recently and many wanted to know what we could do for her and Christian. We have decided that we will make casserole dishes for them which we will store in the new freezer at the church. Anyone interested in doing this please make in quantities for two and label. If you have questions please speak to Betty Hopfner. POTPOURRI CORE GROUP is forming for 2012.Come and become part of an awesome group of women. Join the St. Thomas Church Potpourri Group. Filmed Eucharist Producer Looking for Volunteers: A friend of Rev. Chris is looking for volunteers to participate in a Eucharist service being filmed at 3pm on January 21, 2011, at Christ Church, 12116-102 Ave., Edmonton (the Rev Myron Penner presiding). Film footage will be used for educational purposes on the MapleAnglicanYouTube channel aimed at familiarizing newcomers with the Anglican tradition, specifically our liturgical practices and their meaning. Rev. Chris hopes to bring a group from St. Thomas to help fill the church. Please contact him if you are able to attend. Help spread the gospel just by sitting in the pew! Spiritual Direction: Want to make a new years resolution to develop your spiritual life? Spiritual direction is an ancient spiritual practice where a directee meets with a spiritual director to discern the Holy Spirits movement in their life. Rev. Chris completed a threeyear Diploma in Spiritual Direction through Regis College, the Jesuit school at the University of Toronto. He has provided spiritual direction off and on for over ten years, and has directed adult men and women in all life stages. If you are curious about spiritual direction, schedule a time to meet with Rev. Chris to chat about it. He can be contacted by email (rev.chris.dowdeswell@gmail.com) or through the church office.
