SPECIAL

The semi-automatic firewood cut-splitter Spaltfix 280 by Posch with its splitting power of 10t cuts and splits timber in diameters up to 28 cm, producing two, four or six pieces. With the lifting mechanism, no effort is required when hoisting logs onto the timber support. The hydraulic conveyor belt then transports the timber to the 700 mm saw blade. The 4m conveyor belt (optional) then transports the finished billets to the point of loading. The Spaltfix 280 is also available as a Turbo model. In this version, a larger hydraulic pump provides a 30 % higher splitting speed.

The powerful Spaltfix K-4000 with its splitting power of 22 t and Autospeed function splits timber up to 40 cm into 4, 6, 8, 12 and even 15 billets in one cycle. Logs are fed into the large cutting and splitting area with all-purpose cross and roller conveyors (optional). An automatic gripper, with wood diameter display, seizes the wood. A Harvester SuperCut system, a chainsaw with 75cm guide bar length and 22 kW drive is used for cutting. After cutting, the wood moves to the splitting trough where a sturdy piston pushes it against the splitting knife with a force of 22t.
