With Bachelor degree of Fine Arts, for 21 years has been working with graphic design. Investigated and produced a presentation about Social Media for fashion market. Engaged in trend forecasting. Recently restarted her work in Fine Arts.
history

Until 1992 - has made solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions such as: VIII Salo Nacional de Artes Plsticas (Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro - 1985), XIX Bienal Internacional de So Paulo - 1987. Moved to So Paulo. Started the production of fanzines - responsible for her interest for graphic design. Worked in studios as CD cover illustrator and at the same time made collages, unique (unicity concept / one of a kind) postcards and personal cards. With her collages and spontaneous media, she started working with fashion market. Has worked with various artists including Guto Lacaz, with whom she developed several graphic works and during four years they developed in partnership Calendrio Pet. Made scene objects for events, worked as graphic designer and illustrator for magazines and fashion | Clients: Agroceres, Consulado da Holanda, Consulado da Nova Zelndia, Mercearia, MOfficer, MTV Video Music Brasil. Her logos and branding productions were linked to the work of photographers, restaurants, nightclubs, theatre companies and artists | Highlights include: Na Mata Caf, Le Plat du Jour.

2006

Promotional functional sculpture for Agcert Solues Ambientais, made of papier mch | three-dimensional character Mucdoll of the marketing campaign Juntos Por Um Ideal, created and hired by the agency Active4 Full Communication Group. Since 1998 worked continuously for UMA, close to the fashion designer and owner Raquel Davidowicz. From 2005 to 2007 she contributed significantly in several creative fields for the company, particularly in art direction and graphic design - printed material, website design direction, visual communications and visual merchandising depending on the collection. Collaborated with Raquel Davidowicz during a semester at IED | Instituto Europeo di Design So Paulo, teaching Fashion Collection Creation Process. Cynthia was a member of UMAs team in several editions of SPFW So Paulo Fashion Week. This role involved mostly research of fashion trends, writting and collective creation of the catwalk scenery. Represented UMA at Brasil Fashion Now 2 trade show - Omotesando Hills - Tokyo | Japo. Results: Guara Inc. Showroom started to sell UMA in Japan.

Created Mlange logo - based on concepts of customization | designed in module structure opened to many combinations but keeping trademark identity. Made textile design and colour coordinating for importer Eurotextil.

Since the creation of her Random Issues blog, Cynthia has been researching communication tools on Internet, involved in many online communities.
Created a presentation about Social Medias for fashion industry. Guided a seminar at IED So Paulo for Master de Design Estratgico class, about graphic design in fashion market, presenting her professional experiences and also approaching new medias.

Since then, works in activities originated by this digital networking knowledge with abilities on counselling, strategies and dynamics. Has familiarity with new interfaces and ethics on blogs, wikis e social networks, involving marketing. Lives and plans experiences for online world. Collaborates and builds relationships based on consumers view, valorizing transparency and responsibility. Judged master degree theses about Social Media at IED So Paulo [2009 and 2010]

2010

Neka Gastronomias - Designed the website but original project details were depreciated. Implanted social media system, worked as avatar for the company during four months and also trained the team. TUN contemporary accessories | October / December | collaborator and consultant.

2011

Collaborated with forecast trend book (text and images) for Marles Tecidos. Coloured Jorge Menna Barretos art work for Panorama da Arte | MAM SP exhibition. Restarted to work in Fine Arts.
