(St.

Augustine Church, Barberton, OH) (January 15, 2012)

Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Jesus says: Come and See. In todays gospel, Jesus did not preach he invited. Our children need fewer words and more example. They need to see our faith before they can follow Jesus. What are you preaching by your example? (Insert graphic 1106-0086) 358 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. During Eucharistic Adoration, we "watch and wait", we remain "silent" in his Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist.... by worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us. In its fullest essence....Eucharistic Adoration is "God and Man reaching out for each other, at the same time." Please consider becoming an adorer, contact Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926.

Stewardship Corner: Two men were in a small aircraft that crash landed in a remote area and remarkable they were not injured. After they climbed out one of the men became hysterical and kept saying that they would die. The second man said, I am a prominent member in the Church, to which the other man said, What difference does that matter when we are lost? The second man said, I give over $10,000 every week to my church. The first man said again, What difference does that matter, we are lost? The second man said, We wont be lost for long, my pastor will be organizing search parties right now.
