Developed & funded the first "universal RFID proximity reader" for the security access co ntrol industry which was patented and also created and managed the development o f a state of the art, award-winning access control system utilizing a new networ ked hardware and a PC based, IP driven software system that works over data netw orks. "Best New Access Control System" at the ISC West 2000 & 2003 and Product of the Year Finalist in 2005. * Reversed a competitive disadvantage by leading the development and promotion o f over ten new products within a year. As the Director of Product Management for Westinghouse Security (1995 - 1997) I led development of new products which ret ained their legacy competitive position and help thwart challenges in the market . Business was thus positioned to be eventually purchased by Honeywell in 1998.
