He worked clos ely with groups within USDA that oversee the processing and approval of grants a nd loans under the aegis of several technological initiatives, including the exp ansion of the rural broadband program under the 2008 Farm Bill and the 2009 Amer ican Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Mr. Ege was responsible for implementing a w ide range of systems that include workflow systems, executive information system s, and reporting systems. In addition to overseeing systems development projects , Mr. Ege also assisted the USDA with business process improvement and re-engine ering. He also helped implement cutting-edge software development techniques, su ch as the Agile and Test Driven Development methodologies. At the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Executive Office of the Pr esident, Mr. Ege participated in the project management of several continuing pr ojects that involved information-technology solutions and support. Booz Allen Hamilton 2007-2008 Associate Mr. Ege served as a subject-matter expert in leading customized software develop ment and technology implementation.
