Religious Education
St. Francis Xavier is a Roman Catholic community in Mount Washington, Kentucky, established in 1846 to further Gods kingdom on earth. We are a welcoming community of faith serving the spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of our parishioners. We are dedicated to the celebration of the sacraments and the teachings of the church. Our goal is to meet these needs through various parish organizations and through community ministries. Sacraments
Reconciliation Saturday 4:00 pm until all are heard or upon request at anytime. Baptism Call parish office for registration information. Matrimony Contact Pastor at least six (6) months prior to anticipated date. Anointing of the Sick Anointing by request and special times. Please call the parish office.
When a weekday funeral is scheduled, 8:30 am or 6:00 pm Mass will not be held on that day.

What: Walk through downtown Louisville praying for LIFE. We will be stopping at the court house, an abortion clinic, hospital junction, and 4th street and Muhammad Ali where Thomas Merton had his epiphany moment. When: Monday, January 23rd Time: 4:15 p.m. and travel to the Cathedral of the Assumption where we will leave with other folks from the Archdiocese at 5:00 p.m. The walk takes about an hour; we will then travel back to St. Francis Xavier. ALOYSIUS OPEN HOUSE St. Aloysius Gonzaga Academy will be holding an open house Sunday, February 5th from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Tours will be given and teachers will be available to meet with prospective families.
