Writing the date

As datas no ingls so escritas colocando o nome do ms em primeiro, seguido do nmero ordinal do dia e uma vrgula seguida do ano (opcional). Exemplo: July 28th, 2006 = 28 de Julho de 2006 A mesma data, s que escrita por extenso: July twenty-eighth, twenty oh six Note que o ano divido em duas partes, e escritas separadamente. 2006 ficou vinte zero seis (oh significa zero). H ainda a possibilidade de dividir de outras maneiras, como: 2006 = Two double oh six (dois duplo-zero seis) Abaixo uma lista dos meses em portugus, seguida da lista escrita em ingls, respectivamente: Janeiro, fevereiro, maro, abril, maio, junho, julho, agosto, setembro, outubro, novembro, dezembro; January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Horas Para dizer sete horas (da manh) em ingls: 7:00 a.m. = Seven oclock O oclock somente utilizado quando os minutos somarem zero, ou seja, somente horas exatas. Por exemplo, sete horas e vinte e cinco (7:25) escrito assim: 7:25 a.m. = Seven twenty-five J sete horas da noite (19:00) seria: 7:00 p.m. = Seven oclock Note que no ingls no exite horas acima de 12, para fazer a diviso de dia e noite se utiliza o a.m (ante meridiem) para indicar que a hora antes do meio dia, e p.m (pos meridiem) para indicar que a hora aps o meio dia.
