Engineering & Maintenance Manager (Pharmaceutical Production & Packaging Facility) Effectively managed all facets of Pharmaceutical plant engineering department which included ensuring efficient, cost effective operation of facilities, utilities and production equipment while complying with all applicable local, state and federal regulations. Scope of responsibility included management of a staff of twenty five personnel (engineers, technical staff and support personnel). Managed day-to-day facility operations, including Maintenance, Calibration, janitorial functions, landscaping, contractor work, etc. Successfully executed 2.8 million dollars in capital projects including installation of chillers, cooling towers and other energy savings initiatives. Directed day to day Engineering operations for two major hospital facilities, totaling 3.2 million square feet. Operations included preventative and corrective maintenance, uninterrupted provision of plant services, budget management, and engineering support for hospital staff utilizing a computerized work order system and management of capital projects.
