SCENE ONE (There are two tables with a couple of chairs.

MOOSE is sitting at table along with his friends playing toy cars. He is trying to show them that he can make the cars move with his mind. Doctor Xander comes in bringing in a girl. MOOSE looks up and sees her.)

MOOSE (Standing up after seeing the new girl and moves the car with his hands. His friends are amazed. He comes up to the girl smiling.) Hi Dr. Xander (grinning happily and childishly). Would like to see me move the car (moving his hands towards his head and doing spirit fingers) withmy mind? DR. XANDER Hi Moose. I think today is a good day to show someone new your telekinetic trick. (With both arms on the girls shoulders) Here is Leely. Why dont you show her around? She can read minds you know. LEELY Hi. Im Leely. Whats your name? (She takes her hand out for a shake but then put both hands on her head thinking. She takes a quick look at his name tag). WaitI know what it is MOOSE! MOOSE Thats right! Thats right! (Jumping up and down. He then looks at Dr. Xanderstill jumping) She got it right! Thats amazing! (He stops jumping) How do you do it?

DR. XANDER

Well then, Ill leave you both to it. I need to go check up on the other patients. MOOSE Well. OK Mr. Xander. See you later. (MR. XANDER takes his hands off of Leely and checks up on the other patients and soon leaves the stage. They wave goodbye to him.) (Looking at Leely) So. Leely, how do you spell your name? LEELY (confused). UhL E E L Y. Youre silly. Want to hear about how my name was given? Its really cool. MOOSE (Puzzled but amazed) Yea. Sure! (Directs her to a chair and sits there intently waiting for her story) LEELY (Motioning MOOSE to come closer and begins whispering) You seeWhen I was younger, my name was actually Talia. I was abducted by aliens one day. They were very ugly. You see, they did experiments on me. I was coming home from school and (Showing how big the ship was with her arms) I see this big round spaceship above me. It was huge! It was just hovering over me. Then (Clapping her hands together really loudly) BAM! I woke up strapped on some floating table thing. The place was very high tech. There was so many lights around me, it was blinding. Now, there were two aliens who were talking to each other. The thing is (Opening up her eyes at him) I UNDERSTOOD THEM! Isnt that crazy?! I was so confused but thenI realized, I must be one of them. Or at least I was a successful project of theirs. (Showing MOOSE her birthmark on her arm) See? They marked me. They then approached me when they realized I was

awake. They kept calling me Leely when they talked to me so thats how my name came about. (Smiling) MOOSE (He stares at her wide eyed and amazed mouth wide open) Thats incredible! What an experience that must have been. You knowI have powers too. I can control things with my mind! Here, Ill show you. (He takes out his pen with a fishing wire attached to the pen and his wrist. He puts it on the table.) Pay close attention to the pen and I shall move it with MY MIND! (He places the pen next to LEELY and stares at the pen real hard. He puts both hands next to his head for further emphasis and begins to move his hand. The pen falls on the floor. He smiles out of satisfaction) LEELY (in excitement) WOW! MOOSE. That was amazing! You knowWhat if (In a thinking pose) What if YOU MET THE SAME ALIENS TOO? I meanthink about it! We have supernatural powers. We must be their successors. What if we didnt meet by accident and we were meant to find each other. With your telekinesis and my mind reading, we are invincible! So wheres your mark? MOOSE My mark? LEELY Yea. Like what I have here. (Points to birthmark) Here. Let me look. (She lifts part of his clothes up to find his birthmark. They stand up and she continues searching. She finds one on his back.) Here it is! Here it is! This is great! As a member of the Alien Force, I approve of your companionship (salutes) (She motions him to come closer to her and whispers)

Now that were a team. We must keep this a secret. You dont know who could be an enemy. (The two looks around and looks at the audience. Lights fade off)

SCENE TWO (It is lunch time and LEELY is eating at a table. MOOSE comes up to her and gives her a drawing he made of both of them. He sits down and takes out his lunch and begins to eat.) MOOSE Do you like the picture? It took me a very long time. I think the aliens gave me some artistic ability when they took me. I never drew before until yesterday. (LEELY looks at the drawing. The picture is the characters showing off their birthmarks in a childish drawing) LEELY I really like it! Maybe we can show our masters when we have time. MOOSE Youve had contact? Wow. How do you do it? (LEELY quickly tries to shush up MOOSE) LEELY Moose! Remember! (whispering) Its a secret. You dont know whos listening. (Dr. Xander walks toward their table looking suspiciously at them. They notice him and give him an awkward grin. Dr. Xander

walks closer to them but stops in his tracks. He then goes somewhere else.) MOOSE Oh right! Sorry. How about we meet at night when everyone is asleep? That way we wont get caught. LEELY Thats a great idea! Ill see you then! (Lights fade out)

SCENE THREE (Its dark and LEELY is at the staircase next to a barred window with her glow sticks and a light up toy transmitter. She attaches the glow sticks to the antenna and MOOSE approaches her.) MOOSE Wow! Is that it? Is that how you contact them? LEELY Yea! Exciting huh! It glows up you see, this way they can find us easier. The aliens you see they can see as far as they want. The only way for them to hear us is through this device. Heres the mic. (She moves around the antenna until she hears static) You hear that? MOOSE (Excited) Yea I do!

LEELY Great. Its just about ready. Just a little more moving (moves the antenna around some more until the low frequency is stable) THERE! Its done. (She takes the mic and begins speaking in an alien language. She waits for the reply. In the distance a janitor is roaming the halls with his headphones on and oblivious while he cleans the rooms and takes out the trash. He starts loudly sweeping the floors) There! You hear that? Its them. They responded. MOOSE Yea I hear it. (Getting more excited). What are they saying? LEELY (Confused) You dont understand them? Thats weird. Maybe they messed up with something during their experiment. Its OK. Youre lucky I can understand. Ill translate. (MOOSE nods his head and they listen intently to the soft white noise. The janitor again makes a noise.) Oh! They said Hi! MOOSE Oh! Tell them I said hi! Tell them I said Hi! (Leely nods her head and continues with the alien language. The janitor is still unaware of the two and they are still unaware of the janitor. The two wait again as the janitor continues making noises while he works) LEELY Theyre saying how its great that we found each other and that we need to trust each other. The aliens are pleased with what I have been doing and they want me to teach you what I know. That way you can help me.

(The two continue to do this as their voice slowly fades and the lights begin to dim)

SCENE FOUR (Moose is sitting at a table trying to move a book with his mind. LEELY comes up to him by surprise. She lefts her shirt up, only a little to shower him some sort of scarring occurring on her lower stomach.) LEELY Look Moose. Look! MOOSE (he turns his head and looks at her stomach) What(observing closer) What is that? LEELY Silly Moose, Its a mark! Like this one! (Points to her birthmark). You see. Im mutating! Im becoming one of them! Isnt this exciting! MOOSE Wow! How did that happen? (He quickly touches it). Did you meet them again? LEELY (thinking) hmI dont think I did. But I guess this is what happens when youre a successor! Are you mutating? Lemme see. (She begins to lift his clothes. She cant find anything. Shes disappointed.) I cant find it. I guess itll happen soon.

MOOSE I hope so! (Lights dim out)

SCENE FIVE (There is a hospital bed and LEELY is in it coughing. MOOSE comes in and walks up to the bed. He grabs a chair and sits next to her.) MOOSE (sad) Hi Leely. Dr. Xander told me you were sick. I hope you get better. LEELY Awwthanks Moose. Itll be ok. This is part of the process. When I finish changing, Ill be as strong as ever. It will be incredible. (Cough) MOOSE (he holds her hand) Leely(he begins to tear up) I dont want you to change. Youll be different. I wont like it.

LEELY But I cant Moose. They chose me for a reason. I cant let them down. I have to finish what I started. MOOSE No you dont. I cant let you continue this. You havent seen them for years. What if they chose someone else. I wont let this continue.

LEELY MOOSE! How can you say that? Youre chosen too. This will happen to you too. You have to understand. We dont have a choice. I cant undo this process thats already happening to me. (Cough cough) MOOSE The doctors (Wiping his tears) The doctors can help. LEELY Theres no point. This is too alien for them. They wont understand it. (Cough cough) MOOSE Thats not true. Youll get better. I know you will. (Dr. Xander approaches them and signals MOOSE to come to him. MOOSE lets go of Leelys hands and kisses her forehead. She gives him a soft smile) DR. XANDER She isnt looking good. It seems as though she has Adhesion. Its very serious. We can try to help her heal but since shes so far along, we dont know if shell make it. But with the right medical attention, I believe its possible. Leelys a strong girl. MOOSE (He stares in disbelief and doesnt know what to say) MOOSE (Whispering) Thank you. (He walks back into the room with Leely and sits down besides her. Dr. Xander leaves.) They say you might not make itI hope thats not true.

LEELY Silly Moose, Of course I will. How else will we take over this planet together? Everything will be fine. (cough cough) Im tired now. Can I sleep for a while? (beep beep beeeeeep) (Lights fade out)

SCENE SIX (There are two people sitting under a tree. A girl and a boy. They are holding hands and the girl has her head on the guys shoulder.) LILIANA Tell me the story again of your first love. MONTY I just did. Why do you always want to listen to it? LILIANA I dont know. I feel like I can relate to it. She seems nice. MONTY YeaShe was. (He holds her close and rubs on the birthmark on her arm.) (Lights fade out)
