TERTIARY OCCUPATIONS
Unit Summary We get different types of raw material from primary occupations. However , most of it cannot be used directly. We need to process the raw material and make the necessary changes . The occupations that process raw materials and produce new materials are called secondary occupations .For example, textile,iron &steel,or sugar producing industries.From services like banking , health,entertainment,transport to services like watch repairs sharpening of knives or scissors, all tipes of services are included in tertiary occupations. Instructional Procedures o Module 5: Create a student sample and draft Instructional Procedures. Update Instructional Procedures to include: o Module 6: Assessment methods used throughout unit o Module 7: Differentiation strategies o Module 8: Facilitation and implementation strategies Instructional procedures Student present their investigation in slide show presentation and either news letters or wilds. Teacher dividing student in 4 Groups & tell them to collect information of Tertiary occupation. Teacher tells Students to collect the information about Trade. Teacher tells Students to collect the pictures from NET. Teacher tells Students to collect the information about Tourism.

DAY 1 Introduce the following unit question .Begin the project by using an example student slide presentation , Have student use the rubric to help them asses there progress and learning . DAY 2 Ask student to discuss tile unit questions write answers on chart paper & post around the room All students to choose team members. Membership may be formed based on topic of interest. DAY 3 Instruct student to begin researching their topics Answer questions, discuss their project. DAY4 Show student the information of the transportation tourism. DAY 5 Show student the information of the trade. DAY 6 Ask student to complete the research on their topic. DAY 7 & 8 Have student completed there slide shows presentation & there news letter. DAY 9 Provided time for student to present there project to the class, us the project to rubric to access student work. DAY 10 Give the class an essay examination by instructing student to respond to the following 1) TRANSPORTATION 2) TOURISM 3) TRADE Accommodations for Differentiated Instruction o Module 7: Draft ideas to support all learners and create student support material. Special Needs Student Additional support ,scaffolds & assignments are provided to resource student for creating story board ,interacting with other collecting information from wed site & special time is allotted by the teacher to enhance conceptual knowledge on occupations
