Supervised 4 Soldiers and 2 Civilians; Communicate with Soldiers, Battalions and Brigades S-1 daily about Soldiers reassignment and personnel act ions. Utilizes various military personnel systems such as Enlisted Distribution and Assignment System (EDAS), Headquarters Support System (HSS), Personnel Elect ronic Records Management System (IPERMS), Soldier Management System (SMS), Elect ronic Military Personnel Office (EMILPO) and Share point System in order to ensu re proper re-staffing of personnel based on needs of the Division. Provides advice and guidance on problems encountered or anticipated. Makes appropriate changes to various data bases to adjust strength figures and assignment eligibility. Mon itors all gains and losses by computing projected vacancies by unit organization , coordinating with the Transition Center and In-Out processing Branch on known and unforeseen losses for up to 180 days in the future. Makes assignments and pr ograms personnel based upon determination of the needs of organizations units an

d skill background of incoming personnel. Uses knowledge of organizations missio n and functions to ensure that all Soldiers are utilized properly. Manages requi sitions based on special qualification requirements, pre-assigns and assigns per sonnel based on strength and priorities, tracks no-shows. Interviews personnel a nd obtains additional information from previously completed files and records to make initial determination of eligibility of the individual for the requested a ction based upon technical knowledge and applicable regulations.
