Survival Survival training is essential for all individuals who wish to travel and work offshore. QISC has a state of the art facility with HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Trainer), TEMPSC (Totally Enclosed Motor Propelled Survival Craft) and all the necessary equipment to provide as much realism as is possible. The training is conducted in a strictly controlled environment by qualified instructors where delegates can experience being in emergency situations. FIRE SAFETY
The QISC Fire Safety Department works closely with Qatar Civil Defense and other government organisations to ensure fire safety advice and information remain to current relevant standards with regard to both general and specific fire safety guidance and information. All training carried out by the QISC Fire Safety Department has been approved by Qatar Civil Defense. QISC Fire Safety Department offers the provision of fire safety personnel (Fire Warden/Fire Marshal) to carry out their emergency and non-emergency duties at the clients premises. QISC ensures that all personnel deployed have undergone specific training related to the clients premise to ensure they are fully equipped for duty.

ROAD SAFETY

Road Safety is an important area where QISC is contributing to the safety of life and property. QISC has a team of highly trained and qualified driver trainers, providing internationally accredited theory and practical training across most categories of vehicles. Driving is the most dangerous activity most of us have to do, therefore defensive driving is essential to all organisations in order to maintain maximum safety for its employees and to protect the company fleet. WELL CONTROL - TRAINING IN THE MIDDLE EAST


Drilling & Well Control Simulator The DrillSIM-50 represents the rig floor panels and consoles of the DrillSIM-5000, yet the four panels fit in just one airline check-in case, with an additional case for the accessories (instructor facility laptop, 15 student station). It is suitable for refresher training at the well site or certification under the international standards, an instructor station facilitates monitoring of the exercise during run-time and setting up training scenarios. Digitised field recorded sounds add realism, whilst colour plotter facilities provide a hard copy of the trainees response and success to a given situation. Fire Extinguishers Fire Extinguishers are essential equipment located within workplaces which could mean the difference between a small fire and full scale fire potentially leading to a loss of life. The State of Qatar adopts related international fire safety standards in order to establish a high level of quality in regard to fire safety equipment. Fire safety standards adopted within Qatar are BS 5306 part 3; code of practice for the inspection and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers and NFPA 10; Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers.
