FORGIVES JESUS RESIST

What Is Sin? According to Wesley, sin is a willful transgression against a known command of God. A bad thought is not a sin, unless you act on it or dwell on it. Be careful what you allow to remain in your thoughts such as anger, lustful thoughts, hate, and unforgiveness. This grieves the Holy Spirit, and will hinder your relationship with God. The Ten Commandments are good guidelines to follow in keeping Gods law. Take time to read and study these so you have a better understanding of them. Baptism "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). Baptism is a declaration of what Christ has done for you. You are telling others that you have decided to follow Jesus Christ. Baptism does not wash away your sins, but is part of Gods plan for your life following your salvation. The Body of Christ Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near (Heb. 10:25). When you have confessed your sins and trusted in Christ to forgive you, the Holy Spirit lives in your heart. You become a part of the Body of Christ. It is very important that you attend a good bible believing church and become more established in the things of God. Being a part of the Body of Christ will give you support, encouragement, and you will gain greater understanding of Gods Word. Many churches have church membership and offer classes that you may be interested in joining. Talk to your parents and pastor together to discuss when and if this is the best decision for you at this time. God Will Be Everything You Need God loves you and cares about everything that concerns you. He cares about your day, problems, temptations, frustrations, and friends that you choose. Spend time with God the first thing when you wake up in the morning and the last thing you do at night. Establish daily devotions and read the Holy Bible even if only a few verses at a time. The book of John is a good book to begin reading. Your pastor or teachers are good people to talk to if you are facing struggles that seem hard to overcome. ALWAYS remember that God loves you! He will never leave you or forsake you. (Heb. 13:5)

What Happened When I Became A Christian? In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. (Luke 15:10). God puts His Holy Spirit within you to guide and instruct you in all things. He also uses other people such as your parents, pastor, or Sunday school teacher. Now That I Am A Christian? Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You (Psalm 119:11). Daily Bible reading is important to learn about God and His plan for your life. God provides many promises just for you. Spending time talking to God each day will help you develop in your relationship with Him. How Can I Be An Overcomer? And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Rev. 12:11). One of the greatest ways to defeat Satan, is to share with others what Christ has done for you. It will also strengthen your own faith in your salvation. What If I Sin? If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). If you believe you have sinned, immediately and sincerely tell God and ask His forgiveness. God loves you and desires to continue a relationship with you. Sin separates us from God. Temptation You can expect to be faced with temptation. Satan will interject thoughts in your mind that are ugly, unkind, and evil. When you act on these thoughts saying and doing things that are mean you grieve the Holy Spirit. You cannot overcome these thoughts in your own strength. However, God will help you, for He understands what you are going through. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure (I Cor. 10:13).
