SPECIALIZED TRAINING INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

MARKSMANSHIP INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (MICP) Designed to teach the marksmanship trainer the basics of good, sound shooting instruction with emphasis on being able to teach effectively. The training will cover weapons etiquette, disassembly/assembly of the customers weapon systems, weapons functioning, the principles and fundamentals of marksmanship, organizing training, identification of problems encountered with the student and the proper correction for those problems. Graduates receive marksmanship trainer certification documentation. TACTICAL TEAM INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION COURSE (TTICP) Designed for the experienced special operations team member who has shown an ability to impart his training and experience to others. Areas covered will include the theory and practical applications of the tactics, techniques and procedures that are the mainstay of each and every military and law enforcement special operations organization. The graduates of this program will be certified as being capable of organizing, equipping, training and validating a military or law enforcement special operations unit. MASTER TRAINER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (MTCP) This course is designed for the tactical team leader or commander. The graduate of this course will have received the background necessary to enable him to effectively equip, organize, train and validate assault teams, sniper/observer teams and or the tactical assault force/organization itself. Training and validation management areas will be covered as well. Graduates of this program will receive master trainer certification TACTICAL MARKSMANSHIP TRAINING COURSE (TMT-C) Involves work with a variety of weapon systems to include the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, precision rifle and shotgun (weapons utilized based upon customer input). Areas covered will include weapons etiquette and basic functioning of the customers weapon systems. Aimed, rapid aimed, and instinctive fire techniques in normal and reduced visibility will also be covered with emphasis on preparing individuals to operate in a room combat/CQB environment.

SUBMACHINE GUN/CARBINE OPERATORS CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (SMG/C-C) This course will cover the basics of the tactical submachine gun/carbine with emphasis upon the weapons of choice of the department involved in the training. Areas covered will range from weapons etiquette, characteristics and general operation through disassembly/assembly, maintenance and proper use of the weapon system in the tactical environment. Marksmanship with the respective weapons system will also be addressed with the application of aimed, rapid aimed and instinctive shooting techniques in a variety of training range scenarios. All graduates will receive certification documentation on the weapon systems they trained with during the program. INSTINCTIVE FIRE COURSE (IFT-C) Designed to teach instinctive shooting techniques to prepare or further enhance an individuals skills in respect to room combat/CQB and tactical team urban and rural dismounted operations. The training will include work with the handgun, submachine gun, and assault rifle. Weapons etiquette, basic functioning of the customers weapon systems, and normal/reduced visibility shooting will also be covered. BASIC SNIPER/OBSERVER P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED TEAM (SOT) OPERATIONS COURSE (BSOTO-C)

This course covers the tactical operations aspects of the sniper/observer team or SOT from formulation/training through tactical operations at a crisis location. The course will include training towards operations within a rural and urban environment. Sniper/observer team principles of engagement, marksmanship and field-craft skills type training in urban and rural environments will be conducted. ADVANCED SNIPER/OBSERVER P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED TEAM (SOT) OPERATIONS COURSE (ASOTO-C)

Designed for the experienced special operations team member who has shown an ability to impart his training and experience to others. Areas covered will include the theory and practical applications of the tactics, techniques and procedures that are the mainstay of each and every military and law enforcement special operations organization. The graduates of this program will be certified as being capable of organizing, equipping, training and validating a military or law enforcement special operations unit. TACTICAL OPERATIONS PLANNING/FIGHTERS SEMINAR (TOP / FS-C) Designed to introduce the tactical leader to the overall planning process as it relates to high risk incident management and crisis intervention. The training will include familiarization with the assault process and the specialty operations order with emphasis in tactical team planning/employment and how it relates to the overall scheme of operations. Grass roots planning will be emphasized as well as extensive training regards holding area procedures and TIC-TOC OPNS.

DISMOUNTED PATROLLING TECHNIQUES COURSE (DPT-C) Developed to teach the tactical team the basic patrol skills that are required to function in a rural or urban environment during the conduct of high risk incident management operations. Included in the training will be patrol organization, planning procedures, operational techniques, team/patrol movement, immediate action drills (IADs) and transition from rural to urban/urban to rural environments. TACTICAL EMPLOYMENT OF VEHICLES COURSE (TEV-C) Designed to teach the tactical team member to utilize the types of vehicles available to him in the conduct of high risk operations. The training will include the basics of vehicle employment, various scenarios that could be encountered, shooting effectively from moving vehicles, mounting and dismounting various vehicles tactically and ambush/counter-ambush techniques. TACTICAL TEAM COURSE (TT-C) ( CQB I/TIER I ) P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED This course is designed for entry level personnel destined for assignment to a tactical team or an entire newly formed tactical team with no or limited previous tactical experience and covers the initial training of the members. Training will include marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, and shotgun, as well as introductions to tactical team equipment, room combat/CQB (TIER I), tactical team medicine, personnel handling, assault team level planning, and a variety of dry fire scenarios with a progression to basic live fire room combat/CQB. TACTICAL TEAM BASIC COURSE (TTB-C) (CQB II / TIER II) P.O.S.T CERTIFIED This course is designed for the newly formed tactical team and covers the basic rudimentary aspects of the initial training of the members. Training will include marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, and shotgun, as well as introductions to tactical team equipment, room combat/CQB (TIER II), tactical team medicine, personnel handling, assault team level planning, and a variety of dry fire scenarios with a progression to basic live fire room combat/CQB. TACTICAL TEAM INTERMEDIATE COURSE (TTI-C) (CQB III / TIER III) P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED This course is designed for the tactical team that has been operational for a period of time and requires an upgrade in training or specific operational skills. Training will include marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, and shotgun, room combat/CQB (TIER III) with an introduction to specialty areas, tactical team medicine, personnel handling techniques, introduction to mechanical/ballistic/explosive breaching, assault team level planning, and a variety of normal/reduced visibility scenarios, dry and live.

TACTICAL TEAM ADVANCED COURSE (TTA-C) (CQB IV / TIER IV) . P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED Developed for the tactical team that has been operational for some time and has a broad, solid tactical base. Training includes marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle and shotgun, room combat/CQB covering all specialty areas (TIER IV), tactical team medicine, personnel handling techniques, mechanical/ballistic/explosive breaching, assault team level planning, and a variety of advanced normal/reduced visibility training scenarios, dry and live. TACTICAL TEAM SPECIALTY TARGET COURSE (TTST-C) Designed for an advanced level tactical team with the requirement to have the capability of operating in a specialty target environment (linear type targets). The training program can be geared to a specific type of target which can include aircraft, buses, railroad/subway coaches, tractor trailers (reefers) and vans/sedans. Depending on organizational requirements, either recovery (hostage rescue) or interdiction (counter-drug) operations will be covered. TACTICAL CONFINED SPACE OPERATIONS COURSE (TCSO-C) Developed to prepare the Military, Law Enforcement or Corrections Tactical Element for active scenarios requiring tactical operations within confined spaces and areas. Training will include marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle and shotgun with emphasis upon engagements within closed, confined spaces and areas. Also included within the curriculum will be confined space CQB covering all specialty areas (Tier I-IV), personnel handling techniques, specialized breaching techniques in confined spaces, confined space clearing operations planning, and a variety of advanced normal/reduced visibility training scenarios (dry fire, simunitions and live fire.

SNIPER/OBSERVER TEAM (SOT)/ASSAULTER BUILD-UP PROGRAM (SOT A B-UP) This course is designed to teach selected Special Response Team members the skills necessary to enable them to function as members of Sniper/Observer Teams in order to support tactical operations within a rural or urban environment. The follow-up to the initial training will consist of a tactical review at an intermediate level of assault team skills culminating with integrated operations. TACTICAL AIR OPERATIONS COURSE (TAO-C) Designed to teach the tactical team member the basics of operating with rotary wing aircraft. Included are the safety aspects of helicopter work, tactical applications, aircraft configuration for various operations, landing/pickup zone establishment, loading/unloading procedures and fast rope infiltration techniques. The training will be conducted with the aircraft types used by the respective customer. SPECIAL NOTE: Specialized marksmanship skills can be taught as a part of the TAO-C based upon customer requirements.

ASSAULTER TACTICAL EMERGENCY MEDICINE (ATEM 1/ATEM 2) P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED Assaulter Tactical Emergency Medical Training is designed to provide assault team member with skills necessary to provide immediate life support in the crisis area during tactical operations and provide assistance to EMS personnel. Classes will include classroom as well as hands on instruction culminating with a realistic training exercise. In ATEM 1 tactical personnel will receive classes on situation assessment, patient assessment in a tactical environment, rapid triage, basic and advanced airway management, management of multiple trauma patients, patient extraction and hazardous material safety/awareness. Also included in the training will be a tactical review of marksmanship, CQB (Tier I or II), breaching, team and individual movement and post assault procedures. The ATEM 2 curriculum is almost identical except it does not teach specific medical procedures as it is designed for medically trained personnel who would become part of or operate in conjunction with a special response element/team.

TACTICAL EMS CRISIS MANAGER TRAINING COURSE (TEMSCMT-C) The Tactical Emergency Medical Crisis Manager Training Course is designed to provide the crisis manager with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, organize, and provide immediate evacuation out of the crisis area of injured personnel. The course provides training in immediate life support and first aid. Classes will include classroom as well as hands on instruction culminating with a realistic training exercise. Students will receive classes on duties and responsibilities, situation assessment, establishment of the EMS portion of the holding area, post assault procedures, coordination with local EMS/ emergency support systems to include HAZMAT, establishing landing zone for medical evacuation of patients, communication, rapid triage procedures and hazardous material safety/awareness. Also included in the program will be an introduction to the work of the individual assault team member/team to include student participation in the basics of tactical marksmanship and CQB. TACTICAL METHODS OF ENTRY COURSE (TMOE-C) This course covers the tactical applications of breaching via mechanical, ballistic and explosive means. Designed for the intermediate skill level tactical team and above the course will cover all aspects of effecting entry into a crisis area or site. This will also include barrier penetration and obstacle crossing. The course will include an introduction to mechanical, ballistic and explosive breaching followed by in depth application of each means on a

variety of targets. Students will learn tactical target analysis, breaching EEI (essential elements of information), mechanical tool selection, tool use, ballistic breaching specifics, choosing the ballistic breaching round, explosives and explosive materials safety and handling, firing systems and charge selection and construction. Also, each student will have an opportunity to apply breaching techniques in a variety of tactical situations WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION (WMD) RESPONSE COURSE This course is designed to prepare personnel for operations relative to weapons of mass destruction (WMD). These operations focus mainly on first response and all related activities. The program is also a good informative package on the overall activities and case histories of national, international and trans-national extremist criminal/terrorist organizations and their respective operations. Training includes an introduction to terrorist/extremist criminal operations (including domestic terrorists), organizing and training WMD incident first responders, the WMD threat (chemical/biological/nuclear), duties and responsibilities of the first responder, individual protective measures, specialized equipment for protection and detection, specialized operations in the WMD environment and inter-agency cooperation during crisis management. Also included will be a tactical overview of WMD response with an introduction to a variety of specialized operational areas. Students will also participate in a challenging WMD scenario in which an actual event will be staged and student input will determine the actions taken and outcome of the event. WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION (WMD) TACTICAL OPERATIONS COURSE (WMDTO-C) This course is designed for the law enforcement tactical team and covers intermediate level skills with emphasis upon operating versus a criminal/terrorist threat in possession of a weapon of mass destruction as well as operations in a contaminated environment. Both entry and RECCE will be covered. Training will include marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, precision rifle and shotgun, as well as an introduction to the specialized tactical team equipment used in a WMD environment, room combat/CQB (Tier III), tactical team medicine, personnel handling, assault team level planning, introduction to weapons of mass destruction and their make-up, operations in contaminated areas and a variety of dry fire scenarios with a progression to live fire room combat/CQB. The course will culminate with a challenging scenario versus an extremist criminal threat in possession of a weapon of mass destruction and hostages. TACTICAL TEAM MARITIME TARGET COURSE (TTMT-C) This program is designed for the tactical team/elements with the requirement of operating in a specialized maritime target environment. The training program is based upon the curriculum of the basic through advanced tactical team courses and is geared to a specific type of target which can include small craft and large craft. Depending on organizational requirements, either recovery (hostage rescue), interdiction (counter-drug) or WMD operations (tactical) will be covered.

TACTICAL DIVER COURSE (TD-C) This program is designed for the tactical team/elements with the requirement of operating in a specialized maritime environment. The training program is based upon the curriculum of the intermediate tactical team courses and is designed to teach the tactical team member the basic skills necessary to operate effectively in and out of the water. Basic diving and swimming skills will be covered as well as the tactics and techniques of subsurface and surface infiltrations. Depending on organizational requirements the following Tactical Options can be addressed; recovery (hostage rescue), interdiction (counter-drug) or WMD operations (tactical). Attendees must hold a basic open water diving certification (preferably PADI). TACTICAL TEAM ACTIVE SHOOTER COURSE (TTAS-C) Developed to prepare the tactical team for active threat scenarios that require immediate response. Training includes marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle and shotgun, room combat/CQB covering all specialty areas (Tier I or II), tactical team medicine, personnel handling techniques, mechanical/ballistic breaching, assault team level planning, and a variety of advanced normal/reduced visibility training scenarios, dry and live. The basis for this program is reaction and execution in the active shooter environment with emphasis upon scenarios that require immediate response and control. All aspects of the active shooter threat will be covered. HIGH RISK TACTICAL OPERATIONS COURSE (ACTIVE SHOOTER) (HRTO-C)Based upon the curriculum of the Tactical Team Active Shooter Course this program was specifically designed to prepare the patrol officer for active threat scenarios that require immediate response. Training includes marksmanship with the issue handgun and unique specialty weapons that could be utlized in a special response scenario (including the submachine gun, assault rifle and shotgun). Training also includes room combat/CQB covering all specialty areas (Tier I or II), tactical medicine, personnel handling techniques, mechanical/ballistic breaching, short duration planning, and a variety of normal/reduced visibility training scenarios, dry and live. The basis for this program is reaction to and resolution of a crisis in the active shooter environment with emphasis upon scenarios that require immediate response and control. All aspects of the active shooter threat will be covered to include lessons learned from recent mass hostage taking and active shooter crisis events. TACTICAL TEAM ROBOT EMPLOYMENT COURSE (TTRE-C) This course is designed for the tactical team that plans to utilize robotics within their standard operating procedure or who are interested in doing so in the future. Training will include marksmanship with the handgun, submachine gun, assault rifle, and shotgun, room combat/CQB with an introduction to specialty areas (Tier I or II), tactical team medicine, personnel handling techniques, introduction to mechanical/ballistic breaching, assault team level planning, and a variety of normal/reduced visibility scenarios, dry and live with robots. The robotic areas covered will include availability, configuration, uses, maintenance and tactical applications in a variety of tactical environments.

TACTICAL SURVIVAL COURSE (TSC) Designed for the military, law enforcement or corrections tactical operator in response to threat situations that require immediate reaction. This program teaches the assault team/cell or small sized element (squad/section/patrol) the skills required to escape and evade an imminent threat or threats and safely evacuate and exfiltrate an area during room and area clearing operations. Training includes an introduction to high risk operations and an overview of reactive actions and contingencies employed to avoid being overwhelmed and injured or killed when an operation is compromised and elements out-maneuvered and cornered/trapped. Training also includes a review of marksmanship with the issue handgun and primary weapon, room combat/CQB covering all specialty areas (Tier I-IV), personnel handling techniques, breakout breaching, contingency planning, and a variety of normal/reduced visibility training scenarios, dry, simunitions and live fire. CRISIS NEGOTIATION TRAINING COURSE (CNT-C) This Crisis Negotiation Training program is designed for the Negotiator Candidate and is directed towards establishing the baseline of expertise/skills that are necessary in order to meet operational requirements. This training program will also assist in establishing standardized operating procedures and standards of proficiency within respective crisis negotiation elements SUICIDAL TERRORIST MITIGATION COURSE (STM-C) Designed for the military and law enforcement tactical operator in response to individual and small group WMD threat situations that require immediate reaction. This program teaches the skills required to identify and eliminate an imminent suicide style threat or threats. Training includes an introduction to high risk operations regards the suicidal terrorist and an overview of the contingencies employed to interdict. Training also includes direct interdiction marksmanship with the issue handgun and primary weapon, suicidal terrorist mitigation tactics-techniques-procedures, personnel handling techniques, contingency planning, and a variety of normal/reduced visibility dry, simunition fx marking cartridge and live fire training scenarios

MILITARY SPECIAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIZED OPERATOR TRAINING COURSE PHASE I (SOTC/I) The Specialized Operator Training Course (SOT-C/I) is performance oriented training conducted in a high risk environment. It is designed to teach the friendly foreign special operations soldier the basic skills necessary to conduct offensive counter-terrorism operations versus a hostile threat in an urban or rural environment. The training involves extensive marksmanship, CQB/interior tactics, methods of entry (breaching), planning, vehicle operations and various specialty subject training at a basic level of expertise.

SPECIALIZED OPERATOR TRAINING COURSE PHASE II (SOT-C/II) The Specialized Operator Training Course (SOT-C /II) is performance oriented training conducted in a high risk environment and a continuation of Phase I. It is designed to teach the friendly foreign special operations soldier the intermediate to advanced skills necessary to conduct offensive counter-terrorism operations versus a hostile threat in an urban or rural environment. The SOT-C/II Program is designed as specialized continuation training for operators who have completed the SOT-C/I Program. Training includes emphasis upon two very distinct areas; Assault/CQB and RECCE/Sniper Observer Operations. Both areas run simultaneously and culminate with combined operations. The RECCE/Sniper-Observer training section involves extensive precision marksmanship training along the lines of the three SOTT-I sniper/observer training programs. Heavy emphasis is given to field-craft and precision marksmanship in an urban and rural environment in support of assault operations. The Assault/CQB training section involves intermediate to advanced emphasis upon all areas taught in the SOT-C/I Program Within the scope of the Phase II program is extensive specialty target environment operations training (aircraft-wheeled conveyances). Culmination scenarios will include all aspects of counter-terrorism training program from Phase I and Phase II. TACTICAL SNIPER/OBSERVER TEAM (SOT) OPERATIONS (TSOT) This course covers the advanced tactical operations aspects of the military sniper/observer team or SOT from formulation and training through tactical operations in support of unique operations. The course will include emphasis on training towards operations within a rural and urban environment. All aspects of sniper/observer team operations will be covered to include reviews of principles of engagement, marksmanship and field-craft skills type training in urban and rural environments. Specialized situations will also be covered to include shooting through glass, elevated firing and stay behind operations. The key objective of this program is to prepare sniper observer elements for operations in a unique counter-terrorist environment. SPECIALIZED URBAN COMBAT COURSE / SUC-C (CQB I/TIER I) This course is designed for the entry level military operator (conventional and special operations) or the military organization with limited or no previous urban combat training/experience and covers the initial training of the members. BASIC MILITARY FREEFALL COURSE FOREIGN (BMFF-C/F) The BMFF Course Foreign is designed to train selected Special Forces personnel to conduct safe day/night military freefall (HALO) infiltrations within the operation area carrying all mission essential equipment. Attendees must be a member of an operational Special Forces unit with a requirement for skills training in Military Freefall Operations, pass a physical exam qualifying the soldier for duty as an aircraft pilot or high altitude parachutist and pass a hypobaric chamber test qualifying the soldier to perform duties as a High Altitude Parachutist with oxygen equipment above 18,000 feet MSL. The Basic Military Freefall Course Foreign (BMFF-C/F) is performance oriented training conducted in a high risk environment. To successfully complete the course a student must be in TOP physical and mental condition, progress through increasingly difficult training requirements and achieve a GO on all Must Pass events. The BMFF-C/F has classroom lectures/conferences, numerous day/night freefall jumps and graded, must complete skills evaluations. HIGH ALTITUDE HIGH OPENING QUALIFICATION COURSE FOREIGN (HAHOQ-C/F) The HAHO Qualification Course Foreign is designed to train selected Special Forces personnel to conduct safe day/night military freefall (HAHO) infiltrations within the operational area carrying all mission essential equipment. Attendees must be a member of an operational Special Forces unit with a requirement for skills training in Military Freefall Operations, be a graduate of the HAHOQ-C/F, pass a physical exam qualifying the soldier for duty as an aircraft pilot or high altitude parachutist and pass a hypobaric chamber test qualifying the soldier to perform duties as a High Altitude Parachutist with oxygen equipment above 18,000 feet MSL. Attendees must be a member of an operational Special Forces unit with a requirement for skills training in Military Freefall Operations. Candidates must be a graduate of the BMFF-C/F and the HAHOQ-C/F. The candidate must have a minimum of 50 MFF (HALO/HAHO) jumps, pass a physical exam qualifying the soldier for duty as an aircraft pilot or high altitude parachutist and pass a hypobaric chamber test qualifying the soldier to perform duties as a High Altitude Parachutist with oxygen equipment above 18,000 feet MSL. The Military Freefall Jump Master Course Foreign (MFFJM-C/F) is performance oriented training conducted in a high risk environment. To successfully complete the course a student must be in TOP physical and mental condition, progress through increasingly difficult training requirements and achieve a GO on all Must Pass events. The MFFJM-C/F has classroom lectures/conferences, day/night freefall jumps and graded, must complete skills evaluations.
