I have just returned from a trip to alanya and stay at this Hotel. I have been to Turkey 8 times now and can say without a doubt this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I wasn't all inclusive so I have no idea what the food was like, but the rooms were always spotless as was the hotel. They pool was a good size however there is lack of sunbeds. There are tables and chairs around the pool to sit on though. The staff at the hotel were brilliant and couldn't do anything more for you, especially the man behind reception during the day. The rep Ayman was also very good, if you had a problem he would sort it to the best of his ability. Overall I think this is a brilliant place to stay with many facilities to enjoy, not just the pool. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Just Came back from My 2 weeks Holiday to Turkey, it was my first time, loved every single moment of it after the 3d day. Long transfer form the Airport , 2H, Arrived @ 6:00am, had a very bad room, asked the reception to change the room for me, He said I have got to wait for 2 days as the hotel is fully booked. Ayman The TC Rep Arrived at 8:40 ( He always there everyday) , and immediately before even starts his daily routine was at the reception, had a chat with them and My Room was ready the next day with an apologies form the Hotel management . I cannot thank him enough, He has been outstanding, proactive and very friendly. Food: Was aright , but DO NOT expect British taste, but you will always find something to eat. Staff: Very friendly and speaks little English , but they will understand you if you speak slowly.

Cleanliness: Cannot fault that, however if you ever had any issues , simply tell Ayman. Location: Prime location, walking distance from every thing you need. Trips: Must go the Market Trip and Discover Alanya Trip - Amazing value for money. Overall: I had a great time, Value for money and will definitely come back again. 1- Take some Euro with you as some prices only in Euro even though you can still pay in TL. 2- MUST try the Local Food. 3- If you booked with TC you must attend the welcome meeting, and speak to you Rep if you have any issues ( Especially if it was Ayman) 4- Don't bring much with you from the UK and DO lots of shopping as it is BARGING.

Just got back from Alaiye Kleopatra (not to be confused with Alaiye Beach Resort and Spa which several people did). Stayed on a self catering basis in a one bedroom apartment. Apartment was spacious, clean and well air conditioned. Had a large balcony which overlooked other apartments. Hotel complex was very dated and the public areas were of a poor standard. The swimming pool was very small and the area around it was cramped. There were very few sunbeds. and they were always reserved with towels. However, we got a last minute cheap holiday , and used the hotel as a base only. The hotel was perfectly situated near the beach and restaurants and bars. I am very glad we were not all inclusive. We heard several complaints about the standard of food and I assume you needed to get up very early to reserve one of the precious few sunbeds. The hotel staff were friendly, but the Thomas Cook rep Ayman was

exceptional. I have never encountered such a smashing rep. He was beyond helpful ..nothing was too much trouble and he took every situation in his stride. To summarise, we had a great week. Alayna has such an abundance of cheap good quality restaurants within walking distance to the Alaiye Hotel. As a base the hotel is great, but don't go all inclusive. you will miss out on so much.

Think I need to start with the transfer, it's not as long as u think and even in the dead of night it was ok and u have a stop. The thing that drove us all up the wall on the bus was margaret the transfer rep, after every sentence she hinted that we should tip the driver, after the 6th time I was about to chuck her off the bus, we are all aware that u tip the bus driver love. Checkin was quick which we needed as it's was 4am, our room is like a box but we had a pool and sea view so it's fine. I have to leave stuff in the case as the storage is very limited. Breakfast well if u warm salad or last nights left overd u r ok, I stuck to melon and toast each day , the juice is made with powder and u can tell. U can get pure orange juice but u have to pay. Lunch I think was the best, salad was fresh and was nice. Now for dinner well it's served outside by the pool and opens

at 7pm, but all the tables r taken by 6.30. We eat out most nights as it's cheap to eat out, best place is cursoe, love it there, What can I say about our rep Ayman, he is the best. There is nothing he wont do for u. He even gave my husband his factor 50 sun cream, not many would be so nice. Alanya itself is beautiful, it's my 2nd time here, there r so many shops we still have not covered them all, if u come to alanya u need to visit the castle the view is unbelievable, all in all holiday is great hotel had better.

Travelodge with a pool

I have just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel and felt the need to write this review. The hotel is very basic, think Travelodge with a pool. When we first arrived at the hotel after a 2 hour coach transfer we were allocated the broom cupboard, it was shocking, after a trip to reception we were quickly moved to another room on the top floor, we were told the hotel try their luck with the rooms as not many people bother to complain so its always worth asking to be moved. Try and speak to Gokhan as he is really helpful. Stay away from Aytuk, he is rude and ignorant! You will probably have issues with towels, toilet roll, bedding etc but it seems to be a common complaint at the hotel!

Beach: The location is good although its a good 20 minute walk to the harbour, even longer when the heat is at its peak! The hotel is across the road from the beach, sunbeds and drinks etc are not included in the all inclusive, buy your tokens at reception, it works out cheaper. Pool: If you plan on spending your time around the pool make sure you get your sunbeds by 7am otherwise you will be stuck in the shade all day. Dont be alarmed if the sun isnt out straight away, it usually hits the pool at 10.30am. The pool area is small so sunbeds are limited, lots were reserved but never used so just chuck the towels off! Also the bar in the pool is no longer in use, the seats are still there though so it is a little confusing. Food: A different variety of BBQ meat each night, if you dont like this then you are very limited. Breakfast is salads, bread and fruit so dont go expecting a full English! Breakfast and lunch is served in the 6th floor restaurant which is air conditioned and plenty of tables. There is also a snack bar at the pool but all inclusive is limited to burger and chips! The evening meal is served around the pool area, get there before 7 to get a table, the queuing starts at 7pm and usually clears after about 30 mins, the English tend to wait till after the queue has died down. The food is ok, lots of salad but other choices are limited and often cold. As the food is served in a room downstairs the food is often covered with flies!!! I was bored of the food after a week, but I think that is normal when all inclusive. Umit is the best waiter there, he is funny and always smiling, same cannot be said for the other staff. Entertainment: they had a show in the evening with lasted 30 mins but wasnt great. The animation team was one guy called Zef (I think) he did nothing, but turn music on and off all day, the same 10 songs were played over and over. He was also rude, sleazy, ignorant and above all liked to stare at the young girls, things got so bad and the hotel received so many complaints that he actually got sacked!!! Alanya itself is lovely with lots to do, I would defo recommend the resort but would stay somewhere else. If you are travelling with Thomas Cook then your rep will be Ayman, he is brilliant and so helpful, he always listens to your complaints, and believe me he had a queue of people each day. Overall it was ok for a cheap (if you have paid more than 400 each for two weeks all inclusive go somewhere else) holiday and we got what we

paid for but it certainly isnt 4 stars as they claim at reception, I would say 2 stars at most and I doubt we will return! Room Tip: Try for a room on the 6th floor, they are bigger and have better views! See more room tips
