CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH Reactor Plate is in between the pressure plate and cover pressing Four Equally Spaced Bob weights are mounted on this Reaction plate by pivot pins When the engine speed increases, the bob weight will tend to fly outward and rotate about their pins Centrifugal Force is limited by the stops. This will make the reaction plate to compress both reaction and pressure springs , it moves backwards towards the cover pressing.

CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH Greater the centrifugal Force , tends to rotate the bob weights the springs will become more compressed increase the pressure plate clamping load. Adjustable Reactor springs are incorporated to obtain the best pressure plate thrust. Initial compression Length , Loading of springs is set up by the adjusting nut Manual Disengagement of clutch moving release bearing forwards reactor plate is pulled rearwards by means of knife edge link - withdraws the pressure plate thru the retractor springs to release the pressure plate clamping load.

CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH IN TWO WHEELERS Primary Drive Transfers Power from Engine to Clutch Clutch can couple or uncouple engine from gear box Final drive Transmits power from gearbox to rear wheel Clutch is located between the primary drive chain or gears and the gear box. Clutch Housing Spring Loaded Plates (Round Discs) Springs are pressing the clutch plates together - friction causes power to be transferred thru the clutch Clutch lever on handle bar is pulled cable operated lever act against spring pressure to release friction inside the clutch.

Above Idle speed Engine runs clutch basket, pr plate, drive plate spin with crankshaft Centrifugal force their cam ramps cause centrifugal rollers to fly outward against

Cam ramps force the rollers in to clutch, applying pr to primary drive plate Drive & driven plates locks together clutch hub and pinion gear turn with the crankshaft, drive the gear box.
