In this unique journey through life, it shows all the people you will ever know, how much waste you will produce, the amount of fuel you'll consume and how much you've got to pack in during your 2,475,526,000 seconds on earth. CSSI General Meeting February 2nd at 4:30pm in Matthews Center 037 Join us as we discuss the future of the organization and decorate the CSSI space. It's yours to use as well, so please come and add some of your flare! Feed 8,000,000,000 February 2nd at 7pm in BAC 116 Within the next two decades the population of the world is expected to climb to 8 billion people. Feed 8 Billion is a panel discussion where internationally recognized scientists will address the possibility of using different technologies to feed the future population of the world. This event is co-sponsored by the ASU Biotechnology Club and Campus Student Sustainability Initiatives.

CSSI Internships: Chief of Staff: Will be responsible for administrative and outreach assistance. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to reaching out to ASU and surrounding community, assisting with the CSSI listserv, taking meeting notes, compiling information, and similar administrative tasks. Marketing Intern: Will be responsible for the creation of promotional materials and the use of technology for reaching out the ASU public. Project Intern: Must be able to manage tasks well, commit to two office hours and one meeting with the Director of Projects every week, and be willing to submit a weekly report. Volunteer at the 2012 International Conference on Sustainability Science February 20th to February 23rd ASU will be hosting the 2012 International Conference on Sustainability Science. Recycling Ambassadors will be stationed next to recycling bins and food waste bins throughout the course, guiding fans to make the right choices. Volunteer Opportunity- Ecology Explorers Contribute to the Central Arizona Phoenix Long term Ecological Research (CAP-LTER) project through outreach education. Ecology Explorers serves teachers, students in grades K-12, and the public. We offer active, inquiry lessons about urban ecology themes to Valley students in formal classrooms, after-school programs and at special events. We are looking for ASU students with a background in sciences, ecology and/or sustainability to help us deliver our programs. Some office preparation work is involved. A minimum commitment of 10 hours/semester is required. Qualified applicants may be considered for regular intern positions of 10-20 hrs/week (unpaid). Volunteer Opportunity- Pats Run Saturday, April 21st Volunteer to help recycle at one of the Green Team's signature events - Pat's Run! On Saturday, April 21st, the Pat Tillman Foundation needs help keeping the race clean and green. A free breakfast and a t-shirt are included.
