'Getting Support and Money for your group'
Sefyll are offering 2 informal training days just for service user led self-help support groups
These informal learning days are aimed at people that want to develop their group and plan for the future. As well as how to raise funds we will look at a range of ways to get help and support for your group.

Would you like to have a say about how your service is run?
The Pendine CMHT would like to invite two people who use mental health services to take part in their business meetings. (These
happen monthly and usually take place on a Tuesday morning.)

The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board want to know what you think about the service you receive from your Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) As part of an Adult Mental Health Services Review, they are conducting a census of Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs), and the Community Forensic Team in order to understand whether services are meeting the needs of the people who use them, and to learn how they can improve their service to you. Your views will be kept anonymous. For a copy of the questionnaire get in touch with Anna at Sefyll or just ask your CPN, psychologist, or support worker. If you would like to share your views along with other people who use the CMHT, please go along to a group on the following days:

(My service Your job) A major national conference is being planned with an aim to give people who use mental health services the tools and information to be more involved and to have a real influence. Mental Health Action Wales want youre help to plan what the conference should be like. Consultation on the Draft Mental Health (Secondary Mental Health Services) Order 2012 As part of the Welsh Governments work in preparation for commencement of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010, a draft Order has been developed that provides further definition about what are to be considered Secondary Mental Health Services under the Measure. A formal consultation is now commencing on this and responses are required by the 14th of March 2012. Adrian will be working 8 hours a week and usually be in the office on a Friday, when not out meeting service users. Adrian will be working with Anna to ensure that people who use mental health services views' influence the development, planning and delivery of services.
