The following is an overview of the meetings for your Dynamic Leaders cohort: Meeting Contents & Outcomes Purpose: Welcome to the Engine Program. We will introduce you to Engine and The Prouty Project, a partner delivering curriculum. The meeting will cover: Orientation to Engine and get to know other participants Team Development Frameworks, Project Management Skills Non Profit Orientation (General and project-specific) Purpose: Part 1 will be to understand the Discovery Insights profile, a key tool in supporting group communication and team dynamics. Part 2 will be on-location at the office of the nonprofit for which the participants are doing a consulting project where participants will have a chance to meet the nonprofits contacts. Purpose: Explore and define the project charter and early stages of the final deliverables. In this meeting, the project-teams will meet in their small groups and then discuss their initial concepts with the other groups in the cohort. Also, Prouty will deliver content and facilitate exercises on Emotional Intelligence and Executive Presence. Purpose: unearth all of the potential solutions to the challenges of the project. This meeting serves to begin qualifying the ideas for deeper understanding and development. Engine will facilitate the ideation sessions with each project team and capture pertinent outcomes of the meeting. Also, the Citizens League will deliver the first half of the Quantum Civics program, where participants will learn a set of civic principles, strategies and skills. Purpose: Teams meet to do a status check, recap the first half of the projects and prepare for the 75% meeting with the nonprofit. Also, the Citizens League will deliver the second half of the Quantum Civics program, application of the principles of civic principles, strategies and skills. Purpose: Prouty will facilitate Speaking with Impact workshop for the first 90 minutes of this meeting. The second 90 minutes will be to provide an update to the nonprofit leadership on progress and status. The nonprofit leaders will provide feedback and further refine the direction of the project. Purpose: Finalize the deliverable and prepare for delivering the final presentation to the nonprofit Purpose: Deliver the final presentation of recommendations for action and implementation to the nonprofit. This meeting will be at the nonprofit location for each specific project. Purpose: Recap the Engine experience, socialize with team members and other members of the cohort, celebrate successes, and recognize learning to carry forward. Dates 03/27/12 2-6 PM

Each of these meetings will be held at the Engine office (91 South 10 th Street Minneapolis, MN 55403) unless otherwise specified. Also, snacks and refreshments will be provided at each meeting. We look forward to your participation.
