e-newsletter produced by a small group of Wyoming dog rescuers in an effort to highlight shelter dogs in critical need of help.

Im a great girl who is looking for a new family to love me and I will love them in return. Im a young, flirty type girl who enjoys going for a walk. When I look at people, I give February 6, 2012 them my best puppy dog eyes and hope they will give me some pets in return. When Im out for a walk, I enjoy looking at everything outside, doing some sniffing, and in generally, having a great time with the person who is walking me. Im quiet, and even if I say so myself, very cute! Please come adopt me! 2. CRYSTAL is a Shepherd mix, 1 year old. Im a sweet, young shepherd mix who is hoping to find a new home. I am quiet, calm, and feminine. One of my favorite things is going for a walk and enjoying the company of the person walking me, especially if that person gives me some pets. I would enjoy spending time with a family who loves me. I think it would be so nice to curl up at my familys feet and watch television with them, or have them brush me and give me pets. I hope someone out there will see the love I have in my heart and come adopt me! 3. CRUZ is a German Shepherd mix, 10 months old. Hey,
everybody, Im Cruz your good time, happy-go-lucky, fun-loving guy. The main thing I like to do is play. Ill play with humans or other dogs and enjoy everyone. Im cute and wag my tail a lot. I like going for walks, but I would rather play. Im young and ready for someone to teach me all kinds of tricks and commands. It would be great if someone who likes to go for runs would come meet me and take me for a run. Ill bet we could become a family in no time. I m waiting at the pound. Please come meet me and then take me home!

Transport can be arranged, in most cases, to approved adoptive or foster homes or rescue organizations. Please help us! These are good, healthy, happy, loving dogs that are out of luck and out of time. We urge you to crosspost to e-mail lists and Web groups, forward to friends, send to co-workers, and share with family. We hope our efforts, combined with yours, will save many lives.

4. LADY is a Blue heeler mix, 5 years old. Check out my different colored eyes. Rather cool, huh? Im an active girl and am looking for a family who will take me for lots of walks or lots of jogs. Im very interested and engaged in my environment. Im always aware of everything going on and I like to watch for fun things to look at. I hope a new family will see my picture and come meet me. I absolutely light up whenever someone gets me out of my cage to go for a walk. Im happy when I am outside, and I love meeting both people and other dogs. I want to play with everyone, whether human or canine, just as soon as I meet them. I am looking for someone to adopt me so we can spend forever together. Wont you please come see me at the pound and take me for a walk. In most cases, time is limited for the dogs featured in our newsletters--with that in mind, we try to get the word out to as many contacts as we can using this publication. Work on behalf of the animals for finding them homes and/or rescues comes from many, many sources and is an ONGOING effort dealt with a sense of urgency. In some cases there may be times when a sudden adoption and/or rescue comes through at the exact time our newsletter is issued. I am just learning to trust people. I have not had any training or socialization so you will have to have patience with me. I have not been around children but I do get along with other dogs. 2. BLUE. I am a pretty laid back fella. I am about 4 or 5 years old and would really like someone to love on me. I get along good with other dogs. I am a smart guy and should train fairly easy. 3. DYLAN. I am a 3 year old sterilized male. They tell me I am a Lhasa Apso/ Bulldog mix. I think I am just a short Saint Bernard. I am very loving once you get to know me. ZORA is a Heeler/Kelpie mix. She entered the rescue from a
hoarding situation in Montana where she was seized and turned over to a shelter. She spent almost a year in the shelter environment and did not experience much socialization with humans. Once in the rescue, she adapted well to the training process and has turned into a very sweet dog! She recently entered a foster home where she enjoys walks on leash, off-leash hikes in the hills, off-leash dog park play,

and is great with children, cats, and other dogs. She mastered house-training and the doggiedoor in her foster home within one week! She is quite playful, and although she appears to be very shy at first, it is because she just needs a little time to check things out and make sure it is safe! She bonds very closely with people and when they have been absent from her life she greets them again with enthusiastic affection.

little dog, but true to his breed he is a handful! He needs firm and benevolent leadership or he reverts into a little terror. With consistency and lots of interaction he is the most delightful dog ever! He hates being idle, he loves using his brain, he is very playful and cute! He has a whole range of tricks, and would be a tremendous agility prospect! He keeps up with the big dogs in his foster home, he is learning to be good to the cat, although if not monitored he will become too excited with the chase if the cat decides to run. He is wonderful with children, but quite fearful of tall men. He can be reactive with strangers (especially men!) if not properly introduced. For an active home that can include Clyde in daily living, he will be a lot of fun! We love his personality and his big attitude in a little package! He is terribly smart, and he learns with lightening speed. _________________________________________________________________

2.CONNOR is a senior boxer mix who is neutered, current on

all vaccinations, and microchipped! He was living at a nearby shelter until the AVHS have an opening for him. He is an older guy but still loves to play ball, loves to be cuddled, and, most of all loves belly rubs! Hes hoping that a change in location will finally bring him the forever home that hes been waiting for. The Ark-Valley Humane Society gave Connor a second chance - now its your turn!!

side rather than inside. He is partially housetrained. Hardy loves to play, especially with a ball. He walks well on a leash and loves to go on long walks. He is neutered, current on shots, and will be microchipped before adoption. He has been at the shelter since June 2011 and desperately wants a real home instead of a kennel to reside in!

to the Shelter together and are really close, so it would be great if they could be adopted together. They are about three years old. Charley is a Rottweiler mix and Meta is a Catahoula mix. They are both very friendly and love people, especially children. Both are totally housebroken and enjoy playing. They are such good friends that they could be easily left alone to entertain themselves while their family members work-as long as they got lots of attention and playtime with people when everyone was home. The girls dont do well with cats. Both girls are spayed, current on shots and will be microchipped before adoption.

4. LEO is a 3 year old gray and white neutered male blue nose Pit Bull. He is large and very muscular but is very friendly with all people. He gets along with other dogs as long as they dont show him aggression. He is very strong and needs some work on leading. He loves attention and playing with toys. It is with great sadness...and with tears in our eyes...that we say goodbye to one of e-WOOFs own. Gerti, Kathlenes sweet girl, crossed the Rainbow Bridge this past week. Kathlene works tirelessly, 24-7, for the animals...fostering, nurturing, medically caring, transporting, and doing ANYTHING for the animals. Sweet Gerti Girl couldnt have had a better home nor a better loving life than with Kathlene and her family. To Kath,with love from Sherry, Tina, and Vicki: When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
