LOCAL BUSINESS FEATURE

Beres stressed the company has the diversity of experience to do a variety of construction work. We have been associated with high-end construction through the 1990s, but we do a complete range from $350,000 and up. Our niche is pleasing people and service. We take care of the little things to make sure that we maintain the Beres tradition of doing it right. Most recently, Beres Construction built homes in The Reserve at Waterford development in Bath, which is geared toward empty-nesters and young professionals, as well as in the communities of Copley and Richfield, according to Beres. Now that the economy has slowed down some, we are diversifying and adding more remodeling work, said Beres.

Beres Construction Co. builds custom homes, much more

BY MARIA LINDSAY

BATH Beres Construction Co. is a general contractor that builds exquisite singlefamily custom homes with beautiful architectural designs and the highest quality materials, according to Gary Beres, owner and president of the company. Beres Construction also has experience in building light commercial and retail properties, subdivisions and equestrian facilities. Beres said his father, John Beres, started the company in 1950, concentrating mostly on speculative home construction through the 1980s in the Akron area, when it was thriving due to the tire business. He added he started working for the business when he was a young boy and began full time in 1966.
