Registration is permitted on day of tournament. Participants must be members of the Iowa Great Lakes Bass Club. Join at the ramp for $20. This is an individual, not a team tournament. Each sherman must catch their own sh. We will draw partners unless requested differently. (If you brought someone to sh with, you will be taken out of the drawing.) Safe boating must be observed at all times. All boats must be equipped with emergency shutoff. Life jackets will be worn when big motor is running Consumption of alcoholic beverage or any kind of mind-altering drug during tournament hours is prohibited. All contestants are required to follow high standards of sportsmanship. All boats must maintain a 30 yard distance from other competitors unless given permission. All bass must be caught alive in a conventional manner. Only articial lures may be used, with the exception of pork trailers. Contestants who are not at the ofcial weigh-in site at the appointed time will be penalized 1 pound per minute deducted from the total weight, including any weight counted toward the big bass award. Every effort must be made to keep bass alive through the use of a properly aerated livewell. Additives that promote healthy return of the bass to their natural habitat are permitted. A pound penalty will be deducted from the total weight for each dead sh. The pounds and ounces of each contestants bass caught during the tournament will determine scoring. The limits and lengths of the bass will be those set by the State of Iowa or local waters on which the tournament is held. All contestants in the Iowa Great Lakes Bass Club are required to carry liability insurance. Non-boaters should assist boater with expenses by paying $20 or making arrangements with the boater for that assistance. Illegal sh brought to scale will lead to immediate disqualication.
