INTRODUCTION

MIM was inaugurated as a voluntary society on 29

January 1966 on the inspiration of YABhgTun Ismail
Mohd Ali, the frst Governor of Bank Negara. It was
incorporated as a Company limited by Guarantee
on 28 March 1975.
MIM is the National Professional Management
organisation representing Malaysia as a member
country of the Asian Association of Management
Organisations (AAMO).
MIM Membership holds reciprocal recognition
and endorsement from this consortium of Asian
national management organisation.
MIM was awarded the Brandlaureate Awards
2008-2009 for the Best Brand in Services
Management.

WHO ARE THE MEMBERS OF MIM?
To date, MIM has more than 6,000 individual professional
members and 850 group or corporate members both locally
and abroad. Members represent a widespectrum of industries
from all levels of management throughout the country. Over
43 years, we have trained and developed more than 350,000
managers and employees as part of our nation building
charter.
