The History of The Castle Kyalami

The Castle Kyalami, an architectural masterpiece, was built by a Greek architect & developer, Mike Dinopoulos. He built this spacious home with the intention of providing a family seat for his children so that they could all live together, with their families, when they got married. The original property consisted of the Main house, three self-contained apartments (originally for the grandparents), garages, yacht workshop and a stable block.

Banqueting & Events

From 20 to 500 guests, The Castle Kyalami offers versatile venues which are designed to accommodate professional audio-visual and lighting needs and can be set up in a number of ways to accommodate specific requirements. All Packages include the following: The professional management of your function from the initial enquiry to the final payment, Venue hire (until times stipulated below) Tables, chairs, cream table cloths and serviettes, cutlery and crockery Secure, plentiful parking on The Castle Kyalami premises. Should you wish to have a dance floor there will be an extra charge. No fireworks or fires are permitted within the venues From Corporate breakfast, lunches and dinners to award evenings, cocktail parties and theme events, the Castle Kyalami promises an event to be remembered.

Conferencing
The Castle Kyalami offers conference and meeting venues suited to various occasions. From the stand and day conference to executive Board meetings, presentations and product launches, our conference facilities can accommodate from 4 to 500 people

Our Standard Day Conference Package includes 3 refreshment breaks, lunch which depending on the number of delegates, is a delicious finger lunch catering for most dietary requirements. Any other needs can be organized by your coordinator or bought in by yourselves.

Our Function Venues

The Stables As its name suggests this venue was formerly an equestrian arena, which could house up to 28 horses. With careful planning and innovation, we have transformed this building into a stunning, versatile venue. With the original stable doors set into the walls and neutral colours continuing the theme, The Stables allows for great flexibility in decor. A constructed roof allows for comprehensive lighting and audiovisual set ups and large attractive loading doors allow for ease of access our technical crew.

The Stables Foyer (Ascot & Epsom) This venue serves as a foyer to the Stables and has a total floor space of 300m2. It can also be divided into 2 separate conference/function venues, namely the Ascot & Epsom

The Bailey Once used as a workshop to build a yacht, The Bailey transformed provides a splendid setting for conferences and banquets alike. Sound proof partitions allow the venue to be divided into four smaller rooms to accommodate smaller functions/conferences. Each venue has an adjoining Foyer area and opens out onto a patio, which overlooks the circular driveway and takes in the superb view. Above The Baileys is a splendid wooden deck, which can be used for pre drinks or afternoon sundowners

Accommodation
The Castle Kyalami has twenty-four beautifully appointed, sumptuously decorated suits with en- suite bathrooms.

The Master Suite: A room fit for a king. The lap of luxury awaits you in this magnificent suite with a black granite en-suite bathroom, a roman style Jacuzzi and a glass shower fit for two. Off the main room, in the corner Turret, a sunken lounge with overstuffed sofas seduces you into relaxation.
