Subject : - Cleaning of Sewer lines at Bapu Dham Housing Complex. It has been reported by the residents of block No. 1 to 3 & 11 to 13 at Bapu Dham Housing Complex that the sewer lines of these blocks are not working properly. The area was inspected by the undersigned and the labour has been deputed for cleaning the sewer lines but it has been observed that the sewer line could not be cleaned even all efforts made by the field staff of Bapu Dham Service Centre. The matter was discussed on phone with Er. M.A Khan, EE(Sewerage) and Er. Iswar Singh, A.E (Sewerage) incharge of Malcha Marg service Centre for cleaning the Sewer lines. Accordingly, as directed by EE (Sewerage), EE (BM-II) is requested that the matter may be forwarded to EE (Sewerage) for cleaning the sewer lines at Bapu Dham Housing Complex by engaging jet pressure/suction machine.

Sub: Improvement to M & CWC, Sarojini Nagar. SH: Improvement works at M & CWC, Sarojini Nagar. Agency: Sh. Navin Kumar Gupta. Payment of Pre-Final Bill PUC is a letter dated 25.10.2011 from Sh. Navin Kumar Gupta contractor for the above cited work. He has stated in his letter that although he had completed the work satisfactorily in May 2011, yet a lot of payment is lying pending with the Department. He has further stated that he has to conduct the marriage of his son in the month of November 2011 (marriage invitation card enclosed) for which he is hard pressed and has requested for release of some amount urgently as pre-final bill for financial relief. Chief Engineer (C-II) has given remarks on the above stated letter:For immediate action please. Please put up ATR. In this regard, it is stated that the total expenditure on his work has exceeded more than the permissible limit i.e. more than 10 % of the approved P.E. The revised estimate of the work has already6 been prepared and submitted for scrutiny. It will take quite some time for the finalization/approval of the revised estimate from the Council. It is therefore, proposed to make payment of pre-final bill to the contractor after necessary scrutiny, to give financial relief to him in anticipation of approval of the revised estimate. The payment to the contactor will be made in anticipation of re-appropriation of funds from the saving of the Head D.4.12.1 (412400), Scheme no. 62, and Name of work Improvement works at Palika Niketan, R.K. Puram with saving of Rs. 30.00 Lacs against Budget Provision of Rs. 165.00 Lacs for Financial Year 2011-12. Submitted for consideration please.
