A Martyr's Pledge "Today, I stand as a dead man. I declare that in Jesus Christ, I am saved by His blood.

Thus I am dead to sin and no longer dead in my sin. I stand and declare that I surrender my will and my life, to His will and His life. I shall go where He sends me, without asking questions. I shall go to whosoever He sends me to without seeking fame, and in His name. I shall preach to everyone even if they hate me. I am an ambassador of the cross, and must deliver the message of it without fail. I shall pour out my life to reach my family, friends, neighbors and the city that I abide in presently. I embrace the shame of the cross, and I fear nothing but God. I welcome shame, suffering, persecutions, imprisonment, beatings and death, but I will not be silenced. If I am killed, I pray that my blood should be the harvest for souls. This is my city. I dare not do less." In considering this oath, here's a song that always touches my heart and is of a similar theme. It's called, "God Of This City" (Bluetree Version) and here are the lyrics to this inspiring Christian song. "You're the God of this City. You're the King of these people. You're the Lord of this nation. You are. You're the Light in this darkness. You're the Hope to the hopeless. You're the Peace to the restless. You are. There is no one like our God. There is no one like our God. For greater things have yet to come. And greater things are still to be done in this City. Greater thing have yet to come. And greater things are still to be done in this City. There is no one like our God. There is no one like our God. For greater things have yet to come. And greater things are still to be done in this City. Greater things have yet to come. And greater things are still to be done here. There is no one like our God. There is no one like our God. Greater things have yet to come. And greater things are still to be done in this City. Greater things have yet to come. And greater things are still to be done here." "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16) Of all the things we could do or say, the greatest of these in God's view is give our family and nation a message of hope and love. Today, Christians are trying to be silenced by the government, liberals and especially by the Obama administration. We cannot be sent away into silence. For if we hold our peace, then there will be no peace for neither our family or country. Jesus has the only way to lead us into perfect or complete peace, as He only can provide true protection from eternal and internal enemies. Prosperity without Godliness is like living in a dry desert land hoping for rain. One can see the dark clouds, thunder and lightnings yet all this without rain. Why not pray to the God of the former and latter rain? If we believe, then we will receive. For without faith in Him nothing is possible. True security and prosperity remains in Him. If you have not obeyed Acts 2:38, then it's never too late to heed His call for your life. may God bless us all in His name of Jesus. Amen.
