Associate Membership (A/M) Associate member must work a minimum of six school games during the basketball season

(not spring) to qualify Each person applying for an Associate membership must get a classification determination from the Board they are applying to as to their status i.e. Varsity, Jr Varsity or Registered eligible No PNBOA or SOWB Dues and your WOA dues will be split ($30/$30) as WOA dues are now a total of $60 for basketball A/M no voting privileges in elections for Board members, Constitution or By Laws changes & cannot run for office A/M not Playoffs, No State Tournament Eligibility A/M must pay assessment of 7% to PNBOA; 10% to SOWB (current assessment amounts for each group) A/M eligible for year end party but must pay the full amount for themselves and/or guests Not eligible for a scholarship from the group you are an Associate member A/M no draws allowed, unless an emergency that can be verified by the Treasurer of that group A/M eligible for due process, fines and re-assignment fees A/M must complete an availability to get assignments A/M any turn backs to accept games for will result in a reassignment fee regardless of the reason A/M is not eligible to be observed on a game A/M must have completed and passed the NFHS Test A/M must have completed and turned the State Background Check- current A/M must have attended/completed a State Clinic A/M must not be on medical leave from any other board or association or college group, and not actively working any basketball at any level A/M not required to attend General Membership Meetings A/M not eligible for spring, summer or fall school ball assignments unless approved by the Assignors discretion

A/M members will not have access to submit availabilities for working recreation games. Assignor may use A/M members for recreation games if no other option exist. A/M cannot work any Varsity three person games without being WOA certified A/M access to Website A/M will not be required to do JV evaluations when working as an A/M If A/M desires to become a full time member of the group they are an A/M they must complete a transfer tryout to be considered for the Varsity list Observer evaluations will not be conducted on games that have an A/M working A/M not required to have a jacket of the group they are an A/M A/M will not be eligible for a committee position in the group that are an A/M
