Closing Session
ICE Conference 2012 will conclude with a General Conference closing session on Friday, March 2, at 3:30PM in Salons II-IV. We will hold the annual ICE meeting at this time and members will have the opportunity to vote for candidates for the 2012-2013 ICE Executive Board. We will also announce the winners of the grand prize raffle drawings at this meeting! You must be present to win these prizes, so plan to be there!

Back Channeling and Video Streaming Policies

ICE is making an effort to keep our conference policies on backchanneling and streaming simple, yet clear: Video and audio recording-including streaming-of sessions for commercial use is strictly prohibited. Recordings for noncommercial use may be made only with permission of the presenter. Any permitted recording should respect the presenters rights and not be disruptive. ICE volunteers will coordinate back-channel chats for selected keynotes and spotlight sessions and information on where to find these back-channels will be made available as the conference dates get closer and plans are finalized. Since conference volunteers plan to webcast the Keynote presentations on Thursday and Friday, we cannot permit individuals to use such tools as uStream at ICE Conference 2012 due to copyright policies and bandwidth issues.

When you look at your name badge, you will notice that a bar code has been added to the printed badges again this year. Some of the exhibitors may be using a lead retrieval system, and if you agree to allow an exhibitor to scan your badge, please be aware that you are providing that exhibitor with your name, address, school information, e-mail address, and phone number. This system was put in place to make it easier for our members to establish contacts with exhibitors, but if you dont want to share this information, the decision is in your hands...just dont let exhibitors scan your name badge.

Thursday/Friday General Conference Presenter Check-In

General Conference presenters (those providing 45-minute presentations) must check in at the Presenter Check-In desk in the Mega Center lobby between 7:30AM and 10:00AM each day you are presenting. (Presenters for the full-day and half-day workshop presentations will be sent additional check-in information by email.)
