Are you in a hurry right now, then this is not what you want to be reading! Set aside some time to read this message and to ponder what is being said here. If you want to hear what God is saying in this hour you must slow down and pay attention. For too long now the Gospel has been watered downdumbed down! Microwaved! By doing this we have lost the power and conviction of the Holy Ghost! (Weve even dumbed down His Name, Hes now referred to as the Holy Spirit). You cant break everything of the Spirit realm into words of this physical realm so they can be understood mentally. Somewhere along the way you have to be born again! Born of the Spirit! Spiritual things c/an only be understood spiritually. 1 Corinthians 2: (KJV) 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. By excellency of speech and of wisdom, Paul is saying he didnt water down the Gospel. The Corinthians had received the real Gospel of Christ, and had given their lives to God. 1 Corinthians 1:4-8 (MOFF) 4 I always thank my God for the grace of God that has been bestowed on you in Christ Jesus; 5 in him you have received a wealth of all blessing, full power to speak of your faith and full insight into its meaning, 6 all of which verifies the testimony we bore to Christ when we were with you. 7 Thus you lack no spiritual endowment during these days of waiting till our Lord Jesus Christ is revealed; 8 and to the very end he will guarantee that you are vindicated on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Corinthians that Paul was addressing had, full insight into the meaning of the Gospel, 1 Corinthians 1:4-8 (AMP) 4 I thank my God at all times for you because of the *grace of God which was bestowed upon you in Christ Jesus. (*the favor and spiritual blessing of God) [Even grace is spiritual - Jim] 5 So that in Him in every respect you were enriched, in full power and readiness of speech to speak of your faith and complete knowledge and illumination [you were given full insight into its meaning. 6 In this way our witnessing concerning Christ, the Messiah, was so confirmed and established and made sure in you. 7 That you are not (consciously) falling behind or lacking in any special spiritual endowment or Christian *grace [*charisma in Greek] (*Strongs) charisma a (divine) gratuity, (free) gift, that is deliverance (from danger or passion); (special spiritual) endowment, that is (subjective) religious qualification, or (objective) miraculous faculty.

Spiritual truths have to be caughtunderstood in your spiritnot your head. Quit trying to understand everything by your mind! 1 Corinthians 2:13-16 (AMP) 13 We are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Holy Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit. 14 But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; for he is incapable of knowing them of progressively recognizing, understanding and becoming better acquainted with them Because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated! 15 But the spiritual man tries all thingsthat is, he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things; [yet cant be understood himself by the natural man] The spiritual man can read the meaning of everything. [Yet the natural man cant get insight into him.] 16 For who has known or understood the mind (the plans and purposes) of the Lord so he can give instruction to God? But we have the mind of Christ (His plans) and do hold the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His heart. Isaiah 40:13 (AMP) Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has taught Him? Romans 11:32 (JPH/AMP) 32 For God looks at all men and has locked them all up as disobedient, only that He may have mercy on them all alike. 33 O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgmentsHis decisions! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways His methods paths!, His Gods wisdom is foolish to the *world (*the mindset, the view that the natural unspiritual man has). 1 Corinthians 1:18 (AMP) 18 For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition [Hell], but to us who are being saved it is the manifestation [and revelation] of the power of God. (MSG) 1717 God didnt send me out to collect a following for myself, but to preach the Message of what He has done, collecting a following for Him And He didnt send me to do it with a lot of fancy rhetoric of my own, lest the powerful action at the centerChrist on the Crossbe trivialized into mere words. 18-19 The Message that points to Christ on the Cross seems like sheer silliness to those hellbent on destruction, but for those on the way of

salvation it makes perfect sense. This is the way God works, and most powerfully as it turns out. Its written, Ill turn conventional wisdom on its head, Ill expose so-called experts as crackpots. So where can you find someone truly wise, truly educated, truly intelligent in this day and age? Hasnt God exposed it all as pretentious nonsense? Since the world in all its fancy wisdom never had a clue when it came to knowing God, God in His wisdom took delight in using what the world considered dumbpreaching, of all things!to bring those who trust Him into the way of salvation. 22-25 While Jews clamor for miraculous demonstrations and Greeks go in for philosophical wisdom, we go right on proclaiming Christ, the Crucified. Jews treat this like anti-miracleGreeks pass it off as absurd. But to us who are personally called by God Himselfboth Jews and Greeks(the Corinthians were Greeks/Jesus was a Jew) Christ is Gods ultimate miracle and wisdom all wrapped up in one. Human wisdom is to plastic, so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength cant begin to compete with Gods weakness.

Sorry for the regress back to 1 Corinthians Chapter One, but I wanted you to see where Paul was coming from in Chapter Two, 1 Corinthians 2:1 (MSG) Youll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on Gods master stroke, I didnt try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy. I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and Who He is; then Jesus and what He didJesus crucified. I was unsure of how to go about this, and felt totally inadequateI was scared to death [to put any personal slant on Gods words], if you want the truth of itto make sure that nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came thru anyway. Gods Spirit and Gods power did it, which made it clear that your life of faith is a response to Gods power, not to some fancy mental or emotional footwork by me or anyone else. We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, but its not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so. [Like on Wall Street, or what you see in TV commercials, here today and gone tomorrow]. Gods wisdom is something mysterious [like gold] that goes deep into the interior of His purposes. You didnt find it laying around on the surface. Its not the latest craze, but more like the oldest messagewhat God determined as the way to bring out His best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene. The experts of our day havent a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldnt have killed the Master of the Goddesigned life on a cross. Thats why we have this Scripture text:

No ones ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like itWhat God has arranged for those who love Him But youve seen and heard it because God by His Spirit has brought all out into the open before you.
