Overview This lesson was designed to teach learners how to utilize eChalk. My objective is to teach the learners how to log in to eChalk, set up a profile, create a class page, and edit a class page. Please note a few of the learners created an eChalk page a while ago. However, they have forgotten how to edit their class page. Therefore, this lesson will serve as a refresher for them.

Grade N/A Level Curriculum Staff Development Time 2 sessions 45 minutes Area Frame Stage 1: Desired Results ISTE NETS-T (National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers) 3. The instructor will explain what eChalk is and its overall purpose. She will then show the learners a couple of well designed eChalk pages. The URLs are listed below. http://cross.rcboe.org/ http://arc.rcboe.org/ Learners will be given the opportunity to comment on the eChalk pages. (W) (H)

The instructor will inform the learners that the purpose of this lesson is to teach them how to log in to eChalk, set up their profile, create a class page, and edit their class page. (W) The instructor will use the ACTIVBoard and projector to walk the learners through the process of logging in to eChalk, setting up their profile, and creating a class page. (E) Day 2

The instructor will ask the learners to log in to eChalk. (R) o The learners were taught how to log in to eChalk yesterday. The instructor will walk the learners through the process of editing the page that was created yesterday.
