The school plays a vital role in shaping up a child, developing their individuality and nurturing them to be a successful Individual. Our Institution is working with this mission and commitment of Creating future leaders with concrete human values. We have always had a holistic development approach of our students. In addition to our efforts to impart quality education as per global standards, we also provide equal importance to extracurricular activities like cultural programs, value education, sports, physical education, self-development etc. Our family: Our family includes 31 teaching staff, 14 Non-teaching staff . Our staff are qualified and experienced in their respective field to impart best education for the children. Our Non-teaching staff ensure that everything is taken care for smooth running of day to day activities of the school. Academics: We teach Hindi and Computer Education apart from the regular subjects for students. 74 of our students with the support of Ms T Amsavani and Mrs. S Kalavathi attended the Hindi exams conducted by Dhakshna Bharat Hindi Prachara Sabha. They cleared the exams with flying colours. Matriculation Exam Performance: With great pride and profound happiness I share with you all that all the students from our school who had appeared for the matriculation exams in the year 2011, have passed the exams. The school has shown 100% results for the consecutive year. This has been possible due to the sincere efforts of both the students and staff. I congratulate each one of them on the behalf of the management, parents and the entire school. Rank Certificate: We have the practice of recognizing the class toppers and rank holders of the every monthly test and the terminal examination. This year too all such meritorious students have been awarded with Rank Badges, Prizes and certificates by out Secretary, Thiru. N. Pandurangan. Tamil Mandaram Exams: With great interest 250 students from our school participated in the Tamil Mandram exams conducted every year by Bharathiar Muthamizh Mandram. Activities: This year was also filled with lot of activities and we also appreciate the support and encouragement of our parents. Few of our activities include Drawing, Oratorical, Essay writing, Singing, Thirukural Recitation, Vocabulary and word building competitions. Ms K Vidya, Ms. Poongodi and Ms. R Indirani are the teachers in-charge for all our Co-curricular activities and I would like to mention that they exhibited great creativity and enthusiasm in conducting these activites. House Activities Awards: Red, Blue, Green and Yellow are the names of the houses in which the students and faculty of our school has been divided into to promote

healthy competition and nurture the talents of the students. The achievements of each house is tracked throughout the year and the one with the highest score is declared the Best among the others. They will be awarded a Rolling Trophy for the year. Red House has bagged this Trophy and declared the best house for the year 201112. Congratulations Red House. The staff in-charge for conducting the house competitions and tracking the winners are Ms Poongodi and Miss Mohana. They did a splendid job. School Celebrations: Our School students and staff celebrate all important National Days like Independence Day and Republic day. This inculcates Patriotism and pride on our country in their young minds. We also celebrate other occasions like Teachers Day , Childrens Day , Educational Development day, etc. Eminent scholars from various fields were the chief guests for these celebrations and they had motivated our students through their valuable speeches. Seminars and Conferences. We always have strong belief in the concept of Train the Trainer and our teachers participate in seminars and conferences to gain knowledge, update the latest happenings in the field of education and learn from meetings, refresher courses and workshops. ( List attended to be attached) Sports There is a famous quote in English All Study and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Our school want all the Jacks and Jills to be very active and we give equal importance to sports and games. We have sports hours on Mondays and Wednesdays and our students are coached on various games and drills. We conducted our annual sports day on 11.02.2011 and winners in various events were felicitated. Scouts and Guides: Our students have shown great enthusiasm to become scouts and guides and they have enrolled themselves and attended the classes and drills conducted. This activity has inculcated great values like discipline, neatness, punctuality and preparedness in the minds of our students. Transport:

As you all are aware that our school is situated near the busy Highways, our management is very concerned with the safety of our students and has provided our school with three vans and two buses. This facility help the students to reach their homes safely with less anxiety to the parents. This also helps the students to reach the school in time. Like the previous year, this year too, the school has received tremendous support from the management(new additions like class rooms, labs, computers has to be included.) Let me take this opportunity to thank the management, staff, students and parents for this successful academic year 2011-12. The cultural programme that is going to be presented before you is just the glimpse of many of the activities taken by our children under the able guidance of many of our teachers. i am sure you would enjoy the programme presented by our students this evening.
