Daily report We started our day with morning reflection.

June shared about three province (Pattani, Yala, Narathivad) of Thailand. Where was a conflict & booming. Almost 3000 people died for that cause. June asked to remember in our own prayer that three provinces. After morning reflection Small had a video for centering. In that video, we have seen that government has a plan to develop and for this planning people are losing their land. Because they need to move another places. For that reasons they become landless. In that video we can see problem of fast & uncontrolled economic growth. Then we had a song & sang together. Song was `we shall overcome. Max said that this song come from African American people. From 1960 to 1970 was big movement for African people to make change their life. This song gave inspiration to them very much. Then Thoan presented daily report about last day. After daily report Max asked to add Movement will fail, if there is no vision. After that Max asked to house that is there any hot news or not? Erica shared about U.S.A that government making pipelines in native Americans lands without permission. Obama stopped it for a while but big company has power. So, this problem is not finish yet. Then Ela & Poli shared their life story through the river. In every story we can see that every story has specialty & unique. After river of life we had reflection about film of last night. Film name was Water. This films based true story. Some were shared about their feelings how they felt after see this film. Somebody had some question and Marcy answered. Marcy said that still India has this problem. After become widow they suppose to wear while colour shari & need to break up their bangles. Still people had a thought that if widow has sex with Barmhon then she becomes holy. There we can see many discrimination in society. Ela after wife die man can marry or not? Marcy said, yes..they can marry. Max remind us that In movie that small girl `Chiya asked very important question after wife die where is man widow go? Ericka said that women is not only responsible for his reasons. Man also responsible for that. Marcy mentioned that Gandhi who was man he raised many question about this system. She talked about something Manu. After that Marcy continued her session about Gender. She asked us, Is gender about women? Toan answered that, this about both (man & women). Marcy wanted to know where do you learn about our gender? - Family - Educational institution - Religion - Market - Media - Society

After that Marcy has given us three question to do group work & need to presentation in creative way. Question were1. When did you know about gender at first?(reflect ownself) 2. Share your experience with your group. 3. Presentation it in creative way. Marcy divided us in three groups. Before sharing we had tea break. After tea break we worked in our small groups. Before presentation Poli did vegetable action with large group. After this we present our group work. Three groups brought about three situations. Example- Family, work place & educational institution. From this presentation Marcy took out some important point that we can see how women are always in injustice. There is many discrimination, discouragement, bias, division & different domination. Then Marcy gave us two topics to discuss & present also. Topic was- share about media & religion how they are discriminating about gender. At first we divided in two groups. Two groups each got one topics. Then we talked about our topics in groups & we present it. After this presentation discussed in large group that how women always in injustice & using in society. After this session we had lunch break at 1: 15 pm. Then we started again at 2:30 pm. At first max gave us one text about Justice as defined by Burma Issues. He gave three questions. Question were1. What is most helpful? 2. Are you agree or disagree? Why? 3. Make a question after reading this text. Then Jhon, Small & phally present their country report about Cambodia. In country report, they motioned about their history, government, people, resources, economic, culture, politics etc. Then they present their problemIn society Corruption Human rights -landless issue - Human trading -Injustice

What are Cambodia youth challenging? culture- global culture, religion Education- need more qualified education system social work: - unemployment - Inadequate opportunity - Lack of career guidance - drug, alcohol addiction - poverty

After finish this report Tha wa & Sai khun had presentation about Burma. They Introduce about Burma people and ethnic people in Burma. For what people are struggling in Burma? Military wants more power & want to occupied ethnics land. - They have to leave their home(became internally displaced) - A million more people are refuges. so, Ethnics groups are fighting for justice & peace. Max said something about Burma issue that international community they are looking about Aung sun suchi. Then they think, there is progressing but still there is problem with ethnic people & they are in difficulties. He said also that we always criticize to military. But N.G.O s also responsible for their close eyes! After presentation of Burma we had tea break. After tea break Laos gave their country report. They started their country report by introduction about country. Problems: Family problems- Domestic abuse - Alcohal - drug They had a video about bombing in Laos. There was a war with Vietnam but Cambodia & Laos was very very secreat. During that war U.S military droped many many boom in Loas. Still people are suffering for this. Max said that Laos can be clean but still going on with Irak & Afganisthan. Soon going on with Iran. Somebody asked that why they droped that boom? Max answered that if you can make afraid then people will agree with you! At night, we had small discussion about justice as defined by Burma issue.
