As a Malaysian, what should you do or contribute in order to make One Malaysia successful?

How about government and non-government association, what are their roles to implement One Malaysia to make it successful? One Malaysia is and idea and also an aspiration founded by our PM, with the slogan One Malaysia. People First. Performance Now. This aspiration becomes the basic or foundation to the PM now in his leadership and administration in building the nation. The idea is to provide Malaysians with governmental support, regardless of race. At the same time, he also calls to all Malaysians to join him hand in hand to together develop and lead this country to its greatness in our own ways. He asks for all Malaysian to remain committed to the goals of tackling poverty; of restructuring our society; of expanding access to quality education for all; and of inspiring a new generation of young Malaysians to work on behalf of this great country. As a Malaysian and also a teacher that has always been grateful to be one of the lucky citizen in this country, I am called to contribute together in living up this aspiration. From the simplest perspective, as a teacher I am fully aware of the potentials of my students, the young generations and their importance as national treasures to continue building up the nation and as leaders to the societies in the future. I must seek to include and unlock the potential of our young people who will be the next generation of leaders, businesspeople, engineers, scientists, teachers and doctors. We must give them wings to fly. There was saying that went like this; to foresee the future of a nation, just look at the young generation that it has now. If the youngsters are good in every aspect as a human being, then the future of the nation is well spared, but if it is not, than there is nothing you could expect except disappointment. So, my biggest contributions to make One Malaysia successful is to educate the young minds about the importance of knowledge to become a developed nation and also to instill good moral values in them so they are balance in the aspect of JERIS. For the government, it plays the very important roles here to implement this aspiration and to make it successful. The government exists to manage the country's affairs. So the rulers and leaders in every level have to work hard to enhance the confidence of the citizens in those entrusted with maintaining peace, law and order, while recognizing the need to remain vigilant of the very real security threats we continue to face as a young nation. It is crucial for the government to remain focused in providing strong leadership to lead the nation out of this economic crisis and unleash our full potential as a nation. They must be steadfast in their commitment to meet the needs, aspirations and concerns of all Malaysians. In our national discourse and in pursuing our national agenda, we must never leave anyone behind. The government must reach out to the many who may have been disaffected and left confused by political games, deceit and showmanship. It must be a government with new approaches for new times a government that places a priority on performance, because the people must come first. As for the non-government association, they are like the branches that make a tree complete and continue to grow.
