Polytechnic, Rajahmundry Request for considering for Senior Physical Director promotion on par with Lectures in Engg. subjectsRegarding. 1. Initial appointment letter Proc. (TE-1) dept.dt:03.08.2009. .* * * I may submit the following for your kind consideration, rendering justice, and favourable orders at the earliest. 2. I have been working as Physical Director, in Dr.B.R.A.G.M.R. Polytechnic, Rajahmundry having recruited as Physical Director on 08.06.1986, possessing 65% marks in B. P.Ed from Andhra University, in 1979 and 51 % marks in M. P.Ed. from Ganana Bharathi University, Bangalore in 1982. 3. I have satisfactorily completed 26 years of service in the Department without any promotion and my retirement on superannuation is on 31.12.2012. 4. I am to submit that as per G.Os at reference 2 and 3 the service rules for all the cadres of APTES are notified and some relaxations and exemptions are also made there in. Further, I am to invite your kind attention to the reference 4 cited above and submit that the Govt. have made the following exemptions: Govt. have decided to exempt the teachers from acquiring First class in Degree and Post Graduate who at the time of their recruitment were in possession of only a Second class in their Degree at Bachelor (In Engineering) or Masters level (In Non-Engineering) but met all the higher qualifications prescribed by AICTE at the time of their recruitment, for promotion to the post of Senior Lecturer as they cannot appear again for the same Bachelor or Masters Degree examination to acquire First class. In this context, I may submit that the above text of the said Govt. memo (Ref.4 cited) is applicable to the Physical Directors also as they also deserves the same analysis/strategy. Also, I may submit that in the spirit of the said Govt. memo the Senior Physical Director is inherent in the word Senior Lecturer in the said Govt. memo. Therefore on the same lines the Ref:

Physical Directors also shall be promoted to the post of Senior Physical Directors with the spirit of the said Govt. memo. Contd.. 2 :2:

I, therefore, request your good self kindly to consider my guanine request favourably in the light and the spirit of the above said Govt. memo and promote me to the post of Senior Physical Director in view of my qualifications and long length of service, and oblige.
