Removing the foam filler from the Halfen channel after striking the formwork
Fig. 1: Polystyrene bead filler: use an appropriate tool (e.g. carpenters hammer, hook with flat tip, screwdriver or similar). Fig 2: Easy strip (combi) filler: catch the strip at one end by hand and pull it out with the aid of a tool, e.g. a screw driver.

Fig. 6: Tighten the hex nut. Torque is not normally checked as normal site workmanship is acceptable. If torque settings are required, please see Table 2.
