    Spreckels Organ Pavilion: Roof Drain System Rehabilitation


    Location: San Diego, California Situation:
    Built in 1917, this historic outdoor pipe organ that is located in San Diegos famous Balboa Park experienced failing roof drains due to extreme corrosion, deterioration and old age. The 3" and 4" cast iron pipes needed to be rehabilitated inplace in order to prevent damage to the historic monument.

    Date of Completion: September 2005 Solution:


    Nu Flows Pull-in-Place structural liner was installed to the balconys roof drains. This in-situ, innovative solution was quickly installed and prevented any damage to the structure. Nu Flows structural liner created a new pipe within the host pipe to serve as a long-term solution against pipe failures.
