STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

1. Pre-registration process is time consuming wherein students wait in crowded designated preregistration area and registrars search for les manually. 2. Files needed in pre-registration (such as preregistration form and certication of grades) sometimes lost. 3. Students have additional expenses.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

To create and develop an online pre-registration system . 1. To create an online pre-registration system using php. 2. To create an online pre-registration system that will improve the usual process of pre-registration and printing registration form within the pre-enrollment period. 1

The main beneciary of the proposed system is the school wherein it is an advantage for the institution to have online oregistration system.

2. Registrar Tthe proposed system will help the registrar in maintaining the data of the students and the school will not use the manual data gathering. 3. Students The students will benet by means of not having a hard time in falling in line and waiting for their turn to preregister 4. The Proponents The proponents would also be a beneciary of the study since the proponents would value the importance of enhancing their skills and work performance while grasping knowledge throughout the study.

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

-The proposed system will enhance the process eciency of pre registration. -Another feature is students will log in rst using their own username and password. The new students or transferees have a limited access over the online enrolment system. Since they do not have an account or prole in the system, they could only view the following: courses oered; available schedule, subjects, and slots. Students can pre-register through online wherein they will ll up the pre-registration form. They do not need to go to school for accomplishing their pre registration form. -Pre-registration of subjects with prerequisites will be observed by advisers. Advisers have their own usernames and passwords. - The system does not cover computation of grade and printing of reggistration form. -STEPS : Old students will log in rst, ll up the form to be approved by their advisers. Registrar will send notice to the students if he/she can have his/her registration form. -The system is for DIT only to avoid clogging in database. When the system is proven to be reliable, usable and an accurate one, it can be implemented to the whole university.
