Activities may include and are not restricted to: glassing, hiking, stalking, ushing or pursuing your target; from freezing predawn, hot mid-day to cool post-dusk weather conditions. A hunter can be subjected to high winds, torrential rain, hail and snow while doing what they love most. Its not an easy feat, but Lamellar has engineered an effective layering system to beat Mother Nature at her own game.

SOLUTION
In order for the human body to adapt to varying climate conditions and activity levels, a hunter, hiker, mountaineer or any other outdoor enthusiast can use a combination of garments. This allows you to control your bodys microclimate and to regulate temperature to a comfortable level, despite changing temperature and humidity conditions in your environment. The process of peeling these garments on and off to adjust for maximum comfort is called layering and it is the fundamental principle of the Layering Philosophy. The layering philosophy has been tested and proven in the extreme mountaineering, hiking and skiing arenas. It is even used in critical environment industries such as the military and the industrial safety sector.

PROACT TECHNICAL FEATURES THREE LAYER PROTECTION

Membrane at the heart of the ProACT soft shell fabric, the special purpose membrane contains millions of microscopic pores, invisible to the human eye. These pores are small enough to prevent water droplets from penetrating the fabric, but large enough for water vapour molecules to evaporate from the inner membrane surface. This allows for maximum water protection, while still allowing your body moisture to pass out of your ProACT soft shell garment, keeping you completely comfortable. Laminate a specially formulated laminating substance ensures high quality construction and extra strong bonding of the membrane lm to the outer and inner layer linings of the ProACT soft shell fabric. To ensure that you receive maximum performance on all Lamellar performance products, regular washing and maintenance is required. It is critical to maintain cleanliness of your Lamellar product, as dirt, perspiration, body oils and grime build-up will affect performance. We strongly recommend following the care label instructions attached or printed on the Lamellar product.

Machine-wash in cool to warm temperatures (below 50C) with liquid detergent only. A sports wash solution, available at leading outdoor retailers, is highly recommended. Rinse thoroughly to remove all washing detergent residue. Machine wash on gentle or delicate wash cycles Do not bleach Do not dry clean Tumble dry on a low heat (highly recommended to reactivate the DWR treatment) Cool iron only DWR Reactivation: Lamellar recommends application of a DWR treatment onto the outer layer of the garment when the DWR performance is worn (i.e. when the water beading effect is reduced or diminished).
