Attacks on Mumbai: Conflict or Concern?

Written By: Emmanuel “M3KY” Lopez

On the night of November 26th, 2008 a small boat also known as a dinghy landed on the
coast of Mumbai, India formerly known as Bombay, India. The men who would get off would
eventually orchestrate the well planned attacks on Mumbai known as the Mumbai Conflict to
some. These attacks would last over 72 hours killing nearly a hundred people and injuring over
300. This is what we would consider an act of terrorism, something the world has been
experiencing every so often in this millennia starting with the September 11, 2001 attacks on
American soil, most notable of the attacks were the ones on the World Trade Center in New York
that left over 3000 people dead. The September 11th attack prompted President or soon to be
known as Former President George W. Bush to create the War on Terror. Nations across the
world unanimously decided to join this War, including nations from Europe, South-East Asia,
and South America.
The War on Terror escalated to the spread of “Democracy” and “security” by creating
unjustified wars in the Middle-East, starting with the War in Afghanistan and eventually
Operation Iraqi Freedom and the overthrow of Saddam Hussein’s regime. The Middle-East was
the perfect battleground for the War on Terror because the main targets or suspects on terrorism
are Islamic fundamentalist groups or extremist factions like Al-Qaida who was blamed for the
September 11th attacks. The attacks in Mumbai, have been blamed on the Pakistani Muhajideen
while intelligence sources are still pondering if they should claim that Al-Qaida was also a player
in these attacks. Before I start painting my picture for you by connecting the dots, here is some
quick history on India and Pakistan.
Once known as the Mughal Empire, India was colonized by Great Britain, eventually
creating the Indian Empire, also referred to as the Crown Jewel. After a struggle for
Independence in the mid to late 1940’s led by Mohandas Gandhi through peaceful resistance, the
Indian Empire was divided into two dominions known as the Union of India and the Dominion
of Pakistan. The Union of India consisted of what is known as India today along with the
northern part of Myanmar, which was then named Burma. The Dominion of Pakistan was
divided in two sections, Western Pakistan which is what we consider Pakistan today and East
Pakistan which is today called Bangladesh. After 1950 the Union of India became the Republic
of India.
In 1971, East Pakistan wanted to become independent from Western Pakistan which was
led by Benazir Bhutto’s father and the PPP (People’s Party of Pakistan). Prime Minister of the
Republic of India, Indira Gandhi, sent Indian troops to support East Pakistan leading to the War
of 1971. President Richard Nixon’s administration also sent troops to Pakistan to intimidate India
from waging war. By signing the Treaty of Mutual Friendship and Cooperation, India was able to
gain access to political and military support from the U.S.S.R and won the war. From then on
tensions with the United States grew while East Pakistan became free and was now known as
Bangladesh.
India in the past decade has switched it economics to compete on the world stage just like
China and Vietnam. Their Capitalist economy has made their middle-class grow making the
demand for oil grow because consumption is high, yet it could not have come at a worst time
since we are at Peak Oil meaning we can not produce as much oil as we consume.
Oversimplifying it, we are running out of oil and we need it to survive, but there isn’t enough to
go around or that’s what Capitalism tells us because of greed. Peak Oil has forced nations to take
drastic measures to gain access to the black gold like engaging in proxy wars like Afghanistan
(Russia, China, & the US), all out war and threats like Iraq and Iran, or even paying unstable
nations like Sudan and Chad for their oil.
So what does India have to do with us, the United States? What is the connection between
the attack that made us start a war without end and the attacks on Mumbai? These Terrorists tend
to target a nations business capitol not necessarily the capitol city. Not only are the cities the
business capitol, they are also large tourist cities where citizens from all over the world gather.
Once a nations citizens are killed overseas the government tends to put pressure on the other
countries government. In Mumbai the death of a young rabbi and his wife in the Orthodox-
Jewish temple will be the story used the most. Why?
In 2005, India became an observer nation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization
(SCO). The SCO consists of Central Asian countries as well as China and Russia. In 2007, India
became an observer nation in the League of Arab States also known as the Arab League. The
Arab League consists of oil rich nations in the Middle-East and Northern Africa that are hostile
to Israel and the United States. India is a neutral nation without an standing alliance, not with
Russia nor China (Shanghai Cooperation Organization), not with the America, Europe, and Israel
(NATO, UN), or with the Arab League. Their geographical standpoint and its alliance can
determine the outcome of who will “rule” the world in the future. The outcome of India’s
alliance is not known but we soon might know which side India will pursue in the near future.
The last large sources of oil are in the Middle-East and Central Asia even though there is
oil in the Arctic, Africa, and South America, but that’s another story completely, yet not so
different. The United States Empire already controls Iraq’s (OPEC nation) oil indirectly. The war
in Afghanistan will allow a pipeline to be built from the Caspian Sea to the Arabian Sea. For you
to understand the next part of this you will need to look at an map of Asia, mainly Central Asia.
The Allies are fighting for control of Central Asia and it is for the oil which will
eventually lead to an all out war. World War 3 can be pushing it a bit but, not an exaggerated
claim. Starting with the countries west of the Caspian Sea which are Georgia, Armenia, and
Azerbaijan. These three nations are allied with the US Empire through the UN and NATO with
the exception of Georgia. Even though they are part of the UN, Georgia is seeking to become
part of NATO and eventually the European Union. Two southern parts of Georgia pose a threat to
the current leader of Georgia, President Medvedev who is backed by the US, EU, and Israel,
because they are separatists and wish to be allied with Russia. These two regions are South
Ossetia and Abkhazia.
In August 7th, opening day for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Georgia invaded South
Ossetia which led to the 2008 South Ossetian War that forced Russia to intervene and defend
their peacekeepers in that region. When the war ended, the southern parts of Georgia which are
South Ossetia and Abkhazia, became Russian-occupied territories. The war might be over but,
the fighting has not stopped, yet it is not on a massive scale.
To the west of the Caspian we have five nations that stand out which includes Kazakhstan
to the North which borders Russia and China, Turkmenistan which borders Iran and Afghanistan,
Kyrgyzstan which borders Kazakhstan and China, Tajikistan which borders China, and
Uzbekistan right in the center of them. Four of these nations are part of the SCO, while
Kazakhstan is part of the SCO and NATO as well. Turkmenistan is the only country who claims
to have permanent neutrality. All these nations are extremely corrupt and rank the highest in
corruption, so no matter who they ally themselves with it doesn’t really matter. What matters is
who can withstand all out war in the area while playing king of the hill on pipelines and
resources. The people will fight for whoever promises security in the future, eventually their
governments and armies will be dissolved and replaced with an alliance.
The only other nation that remains is to the south of the Caspian Sea and directly west of
India in the Arabian Sea, this nation is Iran. Iran is another observing nation of SCO and in
March of 2008 signed up for full membership. They are hostile to the US Empire and its allies
mainly Israel because of their threats of war. Iran is the one nation that stands in the way of a
pipeline being built and they are also one of the largest oil producing countries in the world. The
majority of their exported oil goes to China. War with Iran seems quite inevitable and diplomacy
will only delay the declaration of war. The Iran issue is also another story completely as well.
Pakistan and India since the War of 1971 have been hostile towards each other. Since
Pakistan is also the other observing nation in the SCO, it has made India hesitant from joining
even though they seemed to have been pushing towards the SCO. In the recent year or so
hostility seemed to have died down since there were talks between the PM of Pakistan and India.
If that hostility were to die out the US Empire would be out of luck since it will mean that both
Pakistan and India would join the SCO and ally themselves with Russian and China. A quick
decisive maneuver with Russia in the North, China in the East, India in the South and Iran in the
West, Central Asia and all the resources, meaning the black gold, would be controlled by the
SCO alliance. Eventually the United States Empire would fall along with its allies. The only
other way they can regain some hope is by settling their differences with the Arab League and
that seems quite impossible as long as Israel is still a “legitimate” nation and an American ally.
Even that would falter since South America is hostile towards the US, are part of OPEC, and
Venezuela is an observing nation in the Arab League.
Now that you know this you will understand that what I am trying to tell you is not a wild
accusation or conspiracy theory but a completely valid opinion if not fact. America alongside its
allies has been funding and training terrorist organizations for over twenty years, well as far as I
know. For starters, the contras in Nicaragua to stop the Sandinistas, training the Taliban in
Pakistan, and the Muhajideen in Afghanistan to fight the Soviet Union in a proxy war. Don’t
forget Osama Bin Laden who was a CIA tactician, was trained and funded by the United States
as well. Bin Laden’s family owns the largest construction company in Saudi Arabia and have
close ties to the Bush family through the Carlyle Group. That is just the tip of the iceberg,
America’s intelligence and counter-intelligence agency, the CIA, has been hiring economic
hitmen corrupt government officials and jackals to overthrow them.
It has been stated that two of the attackers in Mumbai were British-born Pakistanis and
the British government has been trying to downplay that fact. These are not ordinary terrorists,
they were highly trained and well-prepared, unlike many other terrorists, they did not try to
become martyrs through suicide bombs. Someone hired them to scare the public, well of course
because to be a terrorist is to terrorize, but they really didn’t ask for anything except the release
of all the Pakistani prisoners deemed terrorists. That is an ordinary way to go about it because a
few months back the Taliban attack a prison and released the prisoners, couldn’t they have done
that in India? Either way lets say the US Empire and its allies had nothing to do with it
whatsoever, they will use this to create more hostility between the two nations. If America can
convince India to attack Pakistan there is no way India will join the SCO and will eventually join
the Arab States or NATO or UN in the long-run.
Since PM Musharref was forced to resign, America has been trying to invade Pakistan.
They claim terrorists, Al-Qaida, and Taliban have been taking refuge across the southern border
of Afghanistan to Pakistan. For the past few weeks America has been illegally bombing
settlements across the border in Pakistan killing civilians. This will be used as a push to escalate
the War on Terror into Pakistan and eventually get India to join in the fight for vengeance.
Eventually they are going to start pushing India for better security which they have already
started stating in the media. They want India to invest in very-expensive and high-tech video
surveillance for their cities mainly Mumbai because it is the commercial capitol. India wont be
able to afford it and support will be offered by the allies as “Aid” but, in reality they are seeking
to turn India away from the SCO.
On top of that India is known to have problems with corruption specially in Mumbai
mainly in their police departments because of the high rate of gangs in the city. While watching a
special on the attacks on Mumbai, the journalist asked a American University Professor from
India if the terrorists had too much of a head start? I found it quite odd they asked that, but
apparently security forces were delayed for nine, yes NINE fucking hours! That gave the
attackers the chance to go from door to door of each floor in the Taj Mahal Hotel to kill anyone
they found. Now that the attacks have ended an estimated number of 200 people dead have been
reported.
There is an agenda behind anything political like this and if nothing was known about it
they will find a way to use it to their advantage. What everyone should understand is that in an
act of desperation, the United States, Russia, and China will do whatever it can to stay alive. A
good or bad deed will become irrelevant as long as what they want is done, no one is innocent
here. Keep your eyes open and watch every move made, it doesn’t take a genius to understand
this, just awareness of a situation and quick research. If I can learn nearly a century of history in
an hour, so can you, just take the time out to do some research. On top of that don’t accept
everything I say, go do some research for yourself, then you will realize this is not bullshit. Once
again, thank you for taking the time out to read this.
