Finding Balance Romans 12:16 Live your Life in harmony and balancewith all people.

When I am out of balance I feel frustrated and fatigued. I go through a sense of being fragmented physically, emotionally, intellectually, mentally, and spiritually. The last thing I believe I am capable of is engaging in a social balance with everyone placed in my path of life. So how can I do this thing - balance and harmonyin all areas of my being; physically, mentally, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually and of course, with all people which Paul so adamantly instructs us to do in order to obtain the fullness of life. Ephesians 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient and bearing with one another in love. As a Holy Yoga Therapist and Instructor, at Grand Canyon University, I relate to the concept of being humbleand even gently with my body and mind, but as I reflect on holding a Humble-Warrior poseI even dare to lower my face close to the ground and, eat humble-pie, as my sponsor/mentor of many years, Ellie, would say I needed to dothis analogy is related to the steps of the asanaphysically lowering my shoulder to place it under my knee and below my legthen take a wrap with my arms to really get bounded into the concept of lamenting and remaining humble! Then I feel a sensation all over my being! Then there is an enlighten moment - the Spirit of God takes overI realize the only way I can spiritually remain in balance is through dailymoment by momentbreath by breathdigestion of the Holy Word of God! My spiritual malady is liftedstrength comes into my body and mindand yes, I not only want to be around others, but I actually love serving them as a Holy Yoga teacher.

In contemplating on Gods Call to live a balanced life, I am inspired with the mindfulness and consciousness of Divine Order surrounding me, assuring me how the entire world is based on this principal of spiritual balance. The world of nature is perfectly balanced! For our survival and sustainability the Planet Earth is pivoted at a precise angle and rotates as a frequency of speed and distance per hour, allowing it to be spot-on where it needs to be in relationship to the powerful energy of the Sun. In nature, the ecosystems food chain is a process of check and balances, keeping harmony and balance among the survival of all species. The human body is balanced through an amazing design within all of it structural systems, propelled by breath and energy throughout the 74,000+ pressure points of energyand driven by a force that gives vital life to all the functions, and nurtures the brains neurons to fire, with full capacity, for cognition and mental stamina. There is harmony through the body and mind! What is the Divines intention to manifest His Gentle-Love within the crevices of humanity? Struggling to keep balance in tree of life pose, which I personally have a very difficult time holding, I surrender into the rhythmic swaying energy and embrace my difficulties of imperfection. I am reminded in the moment when the big bad winds of life blow unexpectedly a tree need to be flexible and bend a little or it will crack and break! I move on to my emotional state of mind and question how do I begin to pick myself back up from defeats and disappointments and still remain balanced? I am drawn towards a spiritual counsel as I ask all these concerns regarding my purpose for balance. What does the Bible say about obtaining the harmony of being balanced? In Luke 2:25, we see the example of Jesus, the most perfectly balanced person! And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and with man.

Jesus was the Complete-One in all these developmental domains; He grew in wisdom (intelligence), He grew in stature (physically), He grew in favor of God (spiritually) and in favor of man (social balance). He lived a perfect life example of balanced humanity! While wrapping my mind around this meditation there is a strong pull within the heart cavity to better understand this powerful model Jesus demonstrated by living in full homeostasis during His earthly journey. Scriptures give us directives how to do this critical and vital balancing act:

Mentally Balanced: Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world; but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable, and the perfect will of God. Physically Balanced: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Be conscious that your body is a sacred place - the sanctuary of the Holy Spirit that lives inside of you! Let all see the Divine in and through your body! Intellectually Balanced: Proverbs 14:8 The wisdom of the wise keeps life on track; the foolishness of fools lands them in the ditch. Emotionally Balanced: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, kindness and self-control; against such there is no law! Socially Balanced: Romans 12: 2,18 Do not become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You will be changed from the inside outIf it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everybody!

As I approach my students at Grand Canyon University today I asked them to take a personal evaluation this weekask the questionsWhere am I balanced? Where am I out of balance? Take a spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and intellectual and
