AWARDS:

Worked as the Evening Program Director for a week in July, 2011 during which I was responsible to lead the entire camp before meal times, during song times, during evening programs, and many other times. I also planned the evening programs, songs, theme of the week, and more. I was a true leader during this time. Teach campers to be self-sufficient and to have positive attitudes. Responsibilities included applying sunscreen, brushing hair, and even walking them to the restroom in the middle of the night. Taught a class called Food Fitness and Fun where the campers learned about eating healthful foods and exercising.

CAS Travel Grant, SUNY Plattsburgh

Was granted $400 to travel to Nebraska to participate in the Nebraska Conference for Undergraduate Women in Mathematics (NCUWM). Meals and hotel fees were covered by The University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. May 2011

Nicolas and Mirium Troisi Award, SUNY Plattsburgh

Was granted $675 for academic excellence from the Education Department at SUNY Plattsburgh. May 2011

Semlar Math Endowment, SUNY Plattsburgh

Was granted $700 for academic excellence from the Mathematics Department at SUNY Plattsburgh. September 2011

United University Professions Scholarship, SUNY Plattsburgh Was granted $2000 for academic excellence. Only 4 undergraduates in the SUNY system were granted the award.
