These select new products are specifically focused on faster product installation, better use of panel space, and increased in-panel diagnostic capabilities. EXPANDED MULTI-LEVEL BLOCKS

We have expanded our screw terminal block line to include a range of new two-level blocks for larger wire sizes (#22-#10 AWG / 4mm2) and a new triple-level block with ground connection. The triple-level block supports small motor installations and a range of panel density improvement installations.

EXPANSION OF MULTI-CONNECTION AND DISCONNECT PRODUCTS

In support of better panel space utilization, we are introducing a range of new multi-connection single-level feed-through and ground blocks, for wire sizes up to #10 AWG/4mm2. This new range includes a knife disconnect version in all variations, which provides an easy and efficient means of opening a circuit without rewiring. These blocks are an excellent solution for high-density wiring applications, allowing customers to increase installation density with dual connection points on one or two sides. In addition, we have included a new sliding disconnect product for applications where you may require the use of a tool to connect or disconnect a circuit.

NEW 2-LEVEL AND AUTOMOTIVE STYLE FUSING SOLUTIONS

The market for fuse products is increasing as customers look for efficient ways to protect I/O cards from short circuit conditions occurring on field devices sending signals back to the PLC. Our expanded range of products includes a new two-level hinged arm fuse block with a hinged arm fuse on the top and a feed-through circuit on the bottom. This provides an opportunity to double the density of in-panel fusing solutions. In addition, we are also offering a new Automotive Style fuse block in our 1492-L Spring Clamp offering. Automotive style fuses are now readily available for industrial applications up to 90V. They are easy to install, highly visible in the panel, and have potential to increase workplace safety as they do not contain any glass.

SPRING CLAMP FLEXIBLE PLUG-IN CONNECTION SYSTEM

Many new panel designs have defined a need to disconnect individual or banks of wires within the panel. This is often done for diagnostic purposes, system testing, or even for equipment separation for transportation purposes. Our new flexible plug-in connection system will allow customers to easily connect and disconnect wires from one to several terminals. This system offers a series of plug-in connectors which can be installed independently as an individual connection, or can be grouped together in any numb er to essentially build a bank of connectors which can be removed and installed in a grouped configuration. We offer a full range of single and two-circuit feed-through and single-circuit grounding blocks which accept the plug-in connections. This offering also includes blocks with multiple connection points on the same circuit.

SPECIALTY AND DIAGNOSTIC

Today we offer many test plugs and adapters for identifying the presence of voltage or simple diagnostics measuring of voltage. We have now expanded our range by offering a new feed-through terminal block with a test plug which breaks the circuit in the terminal allowing customers to run the current through a meter connected to the circuit-break test plug. In addition, we are expanding our range of component blocks with a new, single-level diode block. This product compliments our existing offering of two-level diode blocks with the advantage of reducing cost and installation space required for high-density component block installations.

CENTER JUMPER SPACER AND CENTER JUMPER CONNECTION BLOCKS

The new 1492-L Jumper Spacer and Jumper Connection blocks for our spring clamp products will significantly expand the center jumper configurations customers can install when using 1492-L terminal blocks. The 1492-LJS supports linking many configurations of different size blocks together. For example, with this simple plastic spacer installed you can now connect a center jumper from a 1492-L6 block to one or more 1492-L4 or 1492-L3 blocks. The 1492-LJC jumper connector allows you to link from larger single blocks to smaller triple connection blocks. For example, you can electrically link a 1492-L4 through the LJC to a group of 1492-L3T blocks.

1492-J POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER JUMPERS

Using terminal blocks for power distribution creates many benefits for customers. Some benefits include; an increased usage of products already in customers inventory, very clean and organized panels, and an opportunity for finger safety in some power circuits. Customers' frequently need to run larger wire sizes in the feed for power distribution to avoid voltage drop over long runs. Our new power distribution jumper allows you to feed the power into a 1492-J16 or -J35 block and then distribute the power to smaller blocks such as 1492-J3, -J4, or -J6 for distribution.

GROUP MARKER CARRIER

Our new 1492-GMC group marker carrier will allow customers to double the functionality of their end anchors or end retainers, as they can now use these products as group markers. The carrier simply snaps onto the top of these devices, providing a marking surface across the entire area of the anchor. The Marker carrier accepts the 1492-M5x30 marker insert which can be printed on the 1492-PLTKIT plotter or the 1492-PRTKIT Fast Track Printer. This is a very low cost solution to make better usage of rail space in terminal block installations.

ULTRA-THIN SEPARATION PLATE FOR SPACE-SAVING ISOLATION OF HIGH VOLUME FEED THROUGH BLOCKS
For installations where customers are looking for separation or isolation of banks of terminals, we are offering a new, thinner separation plate to achieve desired separation without significant increases in panel space. This new separation plate, made of rigid Mylar, requires only .014 inches (.35mm) of rail space to achieve the desired separation.
