EMPLOYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS EMPLOYMENT

The employment offer is subject to them obtaining and maintaining a valid work permit and such other permission, license or registration as may from time to time be necessary to enable them to carry out their duties and continue their employment. The employee cannot undertake outside employment with or without remuneration unless they have the prior written approval of senior management of the company. The management reserves the right to maintain, alter, change or withdraw or all the conditions governing employment without notice and without ascribing any reasons whatsoever. The management shall also be the sole judge of the meaning and interpretations of all or any of this service conditions and their decision, thereof shall be binding on all employees

WORKING HOURS The regular office working hours are 9 hours a day from Monday to Saturday. Work timings are 9 am to 6 pm. The workers may be required to work outside the official hours from time to time LATE ARRIVAL

A time of arrival later than the incoming hour (with 15 minutes buffer i.e. 9:15 a.m.) would be considered as late arrival. Any employee, who comes late for more than three instances, will be subject to one day salary being deducted. Any employee, who comes late beyond 2 hours from the in-coming hour, will be accounted as a half day working for that employee Employees with recurrently late and unauthorized absence will be subject to disciplinary action In this regard the company does not observe a flexible- timing policy

WORK DAY
A work day is considered a full day if the employees have worked for a minimum of 6 hours, less than which is considered a half day

LEAVE
PRIVELEGE LEAVE An employee can be entitled to 20 days privilege leave with full pay in every calendar year. The company will be entitled to determine when this is taken; although as far as possible arrangements will be made suit the employees convenience Privilege leave can be availed only after the completion of 11 months continuous service from the date of joining the company Privilege leave cannot be taken for 3 occasions in a year. Minimum privilege leave granted will be for 4 days. Prior approval has to be obtained 10 days before the leave period. The employee will be entitled to carry forward 60% of their leave in the next year incase the leave is not utilized After a notice of termination has been given the employee will not be entitled to take privilege leave not withstanding any approval given before date of the notice of termination unless the company determines otherwise SICK LEAVE Employees who are not covered by ESIC are entitled to 7 days sick leave every year to be availed in case of ill health. More than 2 days leave at a stretch has to be supported by doctors certificate. Sick leave cannot be clubbed with casual leave or privilege leave. The employee will become eligible for sick leave from the date of confirmation.

TERMINATION

During the employment phase, either party can terminate the employment by giving the party one-month written notice or payment in lieu of notice The employment may be terminated by the company at any time without notice or compensation if the employee: a) Are guilty of fraud, dishonesty or misconduct which is inconsistent with the due and faithful discharge of your duties; b) Disobey the companys lawful and reasonable instructions/requirements c) Habitually neglect your duties; or

d)

Otherwise commit a material breach of your employment terms In case the employee absents himself from work for 22 working days or more or extend leaves at his own and without the consent of management beyond originally granted leaves, he shall be deemed to have left and relinquished his service. Such automatic relinquishment of the contract of employment shall not be considered as a termination of the service by the company

RETURN OF COMPANY PROPERTY


An employee will promptly whenever be requested by the company and in any event upon termination of his employment deliver up to the company all lists of clients or customers, correspondence and all other documents, papers and records which may have been prepared by him or have come into your possession, custody or control in the course of employment, and all electronic equipment, computer software or hardware and other property including his staff ID card used in connection with the operations of the company or any other member of the Group, and the employee will not be entitled to, and may not retain any copies

POST EMPLOYMENT RESTRICTIONS


The employee shall not, any time after the termination of their employment for whatever reason, represent themselves as being in any way connected with the business of the company or that of any other group or company The employment terms should be treated with the strictest confidence.

COMPLIANCE OF THE RULES WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE ACT


WORKING HOURS The maximum working hours according to the factories act is 9 hours and the regular working hours of the factory are 9am 6pm (i.e. 9hrs a day). Women workers working in the factory are never given night shifts so they dont work between 6pm -7am. There are no children working in the factory WEEKLY HOLIDAYS Every worker is to be allowed one holiday (period of 24 consecutive hours) in a week, on any day, so that it does not result in more than 10 days continuous work without a holiday. The workers in this factory have Sunday as a weekly off
