INTRODUCTION

In 1967, United Nations International Childrens Emergency Fund provided funds to start the Madurai Milk Project. In 1974, the Madurai milk project was converted as Tamil Nadu Dairy Development Corporation (TNDDC). Later in 1983, it was converted as co-operative called as A1301 Madurai District Cooperative Milk Producers Limited. Aavin Milk Co-operative in a 3-tier organization structure.
1. State level federation. 2. District level union 3. Village level society

The state level federation name is Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Limited. The district level Federation name is A1301 Madurai District Co-operative Milk Producers Union Limited, It procures milk from 845 village level societies in Madurai and Theni Districts. About 26 routes are used for collect milk from village level societies. The society collects milk from the owner members of milk animals and supplies to the milk unions.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

To measure the quality of Aavin milk To find out customers attitude towards Aavin To find out the awareness of Aavin products. To provide the marketing support to the farmers in Madurai District in order to sale surplus

milk at reasonable price.


To provide hygienic and standard milk to the urban area at the parlour.
